Easy to put up, but only cos already had holes made from a past bar, however I only weigh 8st 5 an the join in the middle is weak an after about 1 months worth of use altogether it's got a slight curve forming. Can put up an take down in the blink of an eye an very light weight.

On early evidence it looks like a sound product. I've deducted one star for the poor instructions, which do not match what's actually in the box. Fortunately I was able to work out for myself how to install it safely.

Unfortunately, I realised afterwards all my internal doors are in the corner of every room so I couldn’t fit the pull up bar! I loved the product so much so thought hard to figure out another way to get it working and decided to use it above my front door. #HappyDays

Some reviews talked about ensuring it fits your door frame and won't interfere with any of the surrounds. I did this and sure enough I can't fit it on every door but it works perfectly where I want it. Very comfy and feels sturdy.

Was sceptical when I booked. But, positively amazed with the quality. This being on the door motivates to do pull-ups more during break . Highly recommended.

Sturdiness

This is a perfect product for what it is, as seen from the measurements it can fit any single door frame I have come across, and it locks in steadily. The product is made from robust metal that would show no signs of breaking or wearing over time, but the parts you would want to use to grip are coated in a good quality soft foam to support grip with; I have used this product a while now and the foam hasn’t become indented or flattened like grips sometimes can which is a good sign of quality.It basically works by hooking onto the architrave of a door frame, which although seems risky initially, isn't something I have had a problem with in the time I’ve had it. I will admit that the hook system isn't the most elegant set up, but it does also seem to be the standard for these types of products and works well. I will say though that one thing I have found is that it cannot be used in every doorway, as you need to have enough clearance either side of the door for the bar to stretch across, so a door near a corner can be an issue for this reason. Also, doors without architrave/frame will not work as the lip is needed to secure the hook.When you first put your weight into it it can feel a bit unnerving, but It can definitely support my weight and leaves minimal damage to a door frame over time, really only just scuffing the paint at the points where it makes contact with the hook mechanism, but this is not something that is really visible unless you are looking down at the top of the door, there have been no actual indentations caused by the product on the door I have been using most often,What I like about this pull up bar is that it can be utilised for assisted push ups on any floor, and this is actually what I have found the most use out of. Because it is so sturdy it can easily support my full weight and the foam grip around the bar means that you can easily adjust and do different variations of push up safely knowing that the support won't slip out from under you.All in all, this lightweight, Pull up/push up bar has become a regular piece of home gym gear for me, it also folds away nicely for ease of use which is a handy little feature and makes it ideal for use at home. As a well priced piece of really great quality kit to have at home I would recommend this product, I have definitely gotten some good use out of it.
