Excellent tool had improved our streaming quality by a large amount

I ordered this camera from Amazon to update our church live streaming system. It arrived within two days on a delivery that required a passcode to be given to the courier which felt very secure for a high value item. Previously I have used 3 standard fixed focus webcams with OBS software for our church services, but wanted the ability to zoom in, realign the camera and have higher resolution images. ON opening the camera feels heavy and well made and the camera fits the brief perfectly. We will be ordering a second one so that the aligning and focussing can be done out of main program in the OBS preview pane. I have successfully used both the USB and Ethernet interfaces and used the camera with Zoom, OBS and the Microsoft camera App. The image quality is incredibly clear and the movements, zoom function and autofocus are all quicker that other cameras I have used. I have trialled it from the back of our church and used the presets to capture various views e.g. altar, pulpit, lectern, window war memorial etc. I attach a video of this along with a picture from the back of church showing test camera location and screenshots from OBS. I am delighted with my purchase and the customer support from Tongveo and will be ordering more of these. The three year guarantee also gives added peace of mind. If you are looking for a good quality PTZ camera with a range of interfaces and 20x Zoom then I would recommend this as it is much cheaper than some of the more familiar brands.

Purchased to upgrade our church live stream. The 20x optical zoom is great for close ups. We have a very large sanctuary and the sound booth is at the rear of the room. A pulpit close up is possible and the quality is outstanding. You can see the grain of the wood and pattern of the pew cushions!

Really flexible camera with multiple options for control and video output via RJ45 + HDMI + Serial control interface. The camera is good quality and excellent value for money. It comes with everything you need including a wall mount (many other manufacturers require you to buy a separate wall mount). I had to contact customer services regarding an issue and they were very responsive and resolved my issue without any problems.

Really happy with this camera and microphone set-up with Zoom. The quality is impressive and has meant our camera club members can watch presentations and competitions remotely which makes a big difference. The service from Tongveo is really good as I had a few queries at the outset.

Meets all our expectations

This is a high quality camera and conference speaker, the item is made very well. Everything you need is included. You get a power brick , the camera will operate without it , but you won’t be able to move it. There is a USB B to A for connecting the camera to your computer to use with conference software such as Zoom, OBS or even FaceTime. Also included is a USB C to A adapter , a Bluetooth dongle if you need it, USB C charge lead for the speaker , you will supply the power plug for this, we all have them. There is a remote that required two AAA batteries and lastly a bracket and screws to mount it on a wall. In use the camera is excellent, I attached it to a mini 14 inch portable monitor via its HDMI , but you could use a TV and you can simply attach it to your computer if you want to use software conferencing via USB. My Mac found it straight away. On the back of the camera there is also the power port , USB B to attach to your computer, and some other plug protocols that seem to be for joysticks and control hardware. I’m not familiar with those. If you press the menu button there are myriad options for getting the picture how you want it, note where the language option is though , because if you press reset like I did , it will reset the language to Chinese as well. As said you need to have the power brick connected to be able to move the camera with the remote. The movement is excellent and very quite too, lovely and smooth. You can zoom at different speeds and it slows the speed of panning when you are zoomed in for more control, very nice. You also get three speeds of panning , these can be chosen on the remote or via the menu. The camera handled light very well , correcting focus and colours, as said there are plenty of options to get the image great. You get 720 and 1080p at various frame rates , 30, 50 or 60. The image is clear , it may not rival a movie camera , but for a web camera it is excellent, would have liked to have seen 4k option though for larger screens. There are buttons to mirror the view or flip it if mounted upside down , most things can be done directly with the remote. One of my favourite feature are presets , of which you get ten. Just press preset first then a number , and it will remember the cameras placement. This gives you the ability to quickly go to any part of the room by pressing one of ten buttons. Perfect if you regularly position at a white board or a particular member in the conference. It’s all very intuitive and the instructions are clear to read in the manual. The speaker can be used wired or over Bluetooth , it connected to my Mac very quickly. The speaker has a USB C charge port and a headphone jack that can also be a line out to bigger speakers if desired. On the speaker you have two options to mute. One is a big mic button , I’m assuming this will work fine in conferencing software , but it didn’t work in FaceTime , but thankfully there is a second option to mute by pressing the power button quickly once. Both methods will turn the indicator on the top red. There is a phone button for making a call , in FaceTime it dialled the last person , but also opens the Music app , with other software open and the focus window , like Zoom, I’m sure it will make more sense. You have volume up and down , again the indicator on top lights up segments to show level. The last button is for connecting and disconnecting Bluetooth. The speaker in use is clear , it did distort a bit at max volume but it was good enough. Overall this is a very nice system with good instructions , everything you need , looks very smart and is well built , it has a long warranty too. At just over three hundred pounds it seems fair given that just small webcams that don’t move can cost that at the higher end. I would have liked to have seen a 4k option at this price however for bigger screens. I am specifically impressed by the movement of the camera and the auto focus and the fact you can do most things from the remote is great. Setup is also simple for a basic setup , although you can get deeper with a controller etc. Highly recommended.

J'ai beau réfléchir je ne vois pas tellement ce qu'elle n'a pas qu'on serait en droit d'avoir à ce prix. + Dans un environnement bien éclairée, la qualité de l'image est très correcte. On peut même tout à fait l'envisager en stream. + Télécommande, elle aussi très complète. + Mouvements très fluides. + Zoom également fluide en mode lent. + Montage mural/plafond possible et fourni. + Possibilité de faire tout une installation de ces caméra en série + Micro correct mais sans plus + Le prix pour une telle caméra. Les moins - Pas toujours simple tant il y a des options qui ne sont pas toujours bien clair

I used a similar model for years until it was discontinued. Tongveo suggested this latest model and it is a great replacement. It has good HD video and is a great price considering others on the market. This one also outperformed another popular brand that I will not name. The PTZ works really smoothly. We use the usb connection and stream our church services. Adjusting the lighting and focus is taking some time to get use to and dial-in but those are great auto features also. I’ll keep you all posted.

We purchased the camera for live streaming, and it comes with all the necessary accessories. The camera is sturdy and performs exceptionally well. The picture quality is excellent, and the pan, tilt, and zoom functions are very smooth. It works seamlessly with the PTZ controller. With a 20x optical zoom, it is perfect for a small church. Very satisfied with this full-featured PTZ camera purchased at an affordable price. It gives excellent image quality with available light, and very low noise even in low light conditions. The sturdy build quality and attractive design make it a pleasure for me to set up at conference venues for multi-camera shoots feeding HDMI signal into my ATEM extreme ISO. I had no problems using long HDMI cables (75 foot fiber optic HDMI). The IR remote is very intuitive and well laid out. The onscreen menus are logical and easy to navigate. I've been shooting on mirrorless cameras on tripods for so long I didn't fully realize the amazing convenience of PTZ cameras. This camera has shown me the light of PTZ efficiency so much so that I got a controller (which you can see in my photo) and a POE switch too. The interconnect was very straightforward and the settings for networking the controller to the PTZ camera was clearly documented in the user manual included with the camera. When I had questions about sharpness settings and the POE power consumption rating, I got immediate and very helpful response from the Tongveo / Tenveo support team. They were very knowledgable and clear. I fully recommend this camera and company -- especially if you are outfitting a studio or venue etc. for multi-cam switched production with a 1080p switcher like the ATEM mini / extreme etc. I have already recommended these cameras to a client of mine who then purchased four of them for his music production studio allowing him to sell a new service offering -- multi-camera video capture -- to his musician customers who love to document their recording sessions. How else could he provision a 4-PTZ-camera studio with an ISO recording switcher for under $3000 total? These cameras by Tongveo / Tenveo are a serious enabling technology for this use case. Since writing my review I purchased two more of these cameras and looking forward to adding them into my production studio.
