Item arrived on time in good condition. I have used the tongs for grilling hotdogs one time and they worked as expected. The tines come together well to grab heftier objects and the scalloped edge worked well for the hotdogs. I like the length for reaching to the back of the grill without getting too near the flames. The clasp lock to keep the tongs closed is metal and substantial so I have little doubt it will hold up well over time. The hanging hook on the end is a nice added extra. Overall very happy with my purchase.

These tongs are Awesome! They are seriously built well, with an extra-large length of 16 inches which makes it super convenient when your grill is hot. There's nothing worse than roasting your arms and fingers! The spring action is in the medium range, with a nice spring back to open but not difficult to close. The locking mechanism is positioned at the grip end of the tongs and to lock to a "closed" position, you'll need to pull the hook outward from the grip area, so it is not one hand locking. (Probably the only con) The large oval ring on the end also makes it easy to hang on just about anything. They're dishwasher safe which makes them super simple to clean. They're great for picking up smaller items, as well as large. These have a solid, high quality feel to them and feel good in your hands. Overall, awesome purchase. I'll be using these for a long time!

Finally a set of tongs that's long and sturdy enough that I can turn my meat on my grill without burning my hands. Very solid and sturdy excellent piece of equipment highly recommend
