Great Trees: The Story of Marshall Field's Beloved Holiday Tradition

Arrived damaged because of loose packaging but issue was quickly resolved. Good historic information and photos.

I had such high hopes for this books. What a disappointment. The pictures are very small and difficult to see the beauty and grandeur of the Marshall Fields trees. What about full pages of the trees instead of tiny inserts? Anyone who loves the traditions of the Walnut Room trees, and would love to have a book that documents them, pass n this book. It does nothing of the sort

Goes back my years and up till 1990 with photos of the main Tree. Good reading

This book was produced in a very old-fashioned way and is extremely difficult to enjoy on a kindle because you have to expand each page as you go, then wait for it to come into focus, which doesn't happen for every page. Interesting subject but not well executed.

The print is too small. I was unable to read any of the descriptions if that’s what they were. I love and miss Marshall Field, but this book didn’t bring me any pleasure. The pictures are pretty. I just wish I could read about their history.

The print is so bad and so small it’s impossible to read comfortably. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to reading about the different trees over the years. I returned it.
