Review: Strong and sturdy - Did the job on a long haul flight carried three rods and a roll up may in it.
Review: Learn from my mistake - Please do learn from my experience. Do not replace the locking pins with padlocks especially wire ones. Due to the not so gentle treatment by airlines the wire acts like a cheese wire and will slice through the plastic. The best way to secure when travelling would be to continue to use the metal pins supplied but then drill a hole/holes to insert a padlock. The pins will ensure that the rod case will not be compressed (as in my case breaking a much loved rod) and the drilled holes for the security padlocks will ensure your rods are not tampered with. Tight lines

**Q: Will this fit my cousins im-8 graphite 7' med hvy magnum casting rod is it to big. i need to travel by airplane recommend other products if needed**

**Q: Will this rod tube fit a Eagle Claw Featherlight 6'6 2 piece fly rod?**
A: Measure your largest piece.  This tube is 42 inches, and 3 ince diameter.
What I can tell you is that I easily fit a 6'6" rod (along with a second 6' rod), and I can't imagine the eyes on a fly rod being large.
Theoretically, you should have no problem (but measure to be sure).

**Q: How many surf rods could you fit in this case? Considering the larger guides.**
A: I can fit 6 english 2 piece 12ft rod in just fine they have 50mm guides

A: Surf rods 2-3 casting rods 4-5 depend on size

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect protection

I have a Fenwick 13.5' rod that is 32 years old I just love, but could never find a multiple rod holder case to protect it! Well those days are over this case is very strong and even held up to my grand children playing with it (apparently they think it's a rocket worth riding). Wives never pay attention to what the kids are into in the man cave. Any way if this case can hold up to them one afternoon with only scrapes to show for it, I won't give the airport a second thought. Recommend this case to any traveler or grand parent out there. Wet lines people!
