I accidentally put my hottie in the washing basket and washed it so I needed to replace the core. This is identical to the original and as they don't last forever, it was due a change anyway. I wouldn't hesitate to get one. We do them for 2min20 in our microwave.

It's a must have product in my household. We've got a couple of these and frequently use them for different purposes, i.e. period pain, back pain, stomach ache, cold feet, etc... Easy to heat up in the microwave, but be careful not to overheat these. I usually go a little longer in the microwave, but extend it by 10-20 seconds a time (keep checking) in order not to pop the heat pad. I love that you can buy these as replacement pads, so don't need to buy new covers. Long lasting too, we've had some for years. Only reason I needed a replacement now was that I forgot another one in the microwave (I set the timer on far too long) and inflated like a balloon.

Perfect for Hottie cover I already had! The last thermal pack leaked after a lot of use.

I love these. They provide a more gentle and comfortable heat than the wheat packs I've been using. The heat lasts a long time. I bought two last year and have been using them at least once a day, sometimes several times a day. Was beginning to think they were indestructible when I fell on one of them and unfortunately it leaked after - although I couldn't see any holes. So ordered these as replacements to keep on hand.
