The sat nav in my car is not great and out of date. Can only be updated by main dealer for £200.Car hi fi expert wanted £1500 to install apple car play head unit and would lose some existing functions.Ordered an alternative product previously, that didnt turn up from America after 5 weeks of promises.This bracket is a bargain, I now have a rock solid Ipad inbetween the front seats, giving me instant access to Spotify and any sat nav app I choose.Was delivered the next day too.Buy a tough case for the I pad though, just in case you drop it on the way to or from your car.Only trouble is, everybody in the family wants one now.A great product. Highly recommended.

Used this for a Galaxy Tab Active 2 tablet, with the different jaw pieces and the spring loaded clamping it is easy to secure and remove the tablet, and is held securely when in use.The ‘gooseneck’ appears to be a solid Aluminiun bar 3/8” or so thick, which means it’s firm to bend but stays in the position well. There is some jiggle to the assembly when driving, but still keeps the tablet easily visible for use as sat-Nav as I’ve got mine mounted halfway up dash, into the ashtray position.Not sure how good it would be if it was mounted to floor or seat bracket.

Installed to hold my iPad Pro, no issues holding it securely on the drive down through the U.K. and Spain.Can be a bit wobbly but the arm is solid and works well.I’d heartily suggest a fair amount of thought goes into where you put this. Mine isn’t quite in the right place and although perfectly useable, I’m going to have to move it.

Excellent, better than the old model it has replaced. Very sturdy. Comes with different sized clamps to fit large or small tablets. iPad air fits perfectly

It is a very good tablet holder, however it has a weak point. The plastic section which is attached to the metal bracket has a tendancy to crack when you are adjusting the neck of the holder. It has cracked twice with me.

I bought this to install in a car to hold a tablet, I was having to hang around for a few hours when dropping someone off at a location with not a lot to do in the area. Using this it made it easier to use and watch videos etc while I waited.There is some movement in the bracket when the vehicle is moving but that's only to be expected.It is simple to install with the right tools, you will more than likely need to socket set if you are installing it on one of the passenger seat runners like me.It's been in my car for more than a year now and still as good as day one.

Good options for fitting but be aware it will not fit onto the seat rail bolt if it's too far back into the rail. Very sturdy when fitted and holds the tablet firmly

Update: I received a replacement after I contact the seller, 5 stars to the good customer service.I bought this item last week of September, Arrived on time, great stong feeling but too bad not strong quality. I installed it on Dec 1, it lasts only 3 weeks. I bought it due to it's 22 Inch length, which is a plus point but the flexible bar broke from right near the bottom (Where bar attached to another piece, the part where you attach it to the seat rail). The hard plastic joint thing had a dodgy fitting, I thought its maybe only a cosmatic issue (but eventually it wasn't) Last year I bought a chinese made 18 inch tablet mount for €11, and its still working fine. I sent an email to the seller, so lets see. Arkon provides 2 years warranty, hope isuue will be solved. Maybe I'm only unlucky to received a fulty/bad item.
