Sanchi Furikake Seasoning Japanese 65g

A must have final touch for most Japanese recipes, in my opinion. It enhances the flavour. Love the crunchiness it delivers to my noodles or rice. A bit pricey but worthwhile since, am not a big fan of plastic. 👍🏻😁

Furikake literally means "sprinkle over" and it can be sprinkled on plain rice to add crunch and flavour. Styles of furikake vary, this one is a mix of black and white sesame seeds, shiso (a type of mint) and aonori (seaweed). It comes as a light shakeable condiment. As well as one rice, it is great to add on salads, light pickles or on steamed vegetables.

It tastes marvellous. Super with rice, potatoes etc. Only problem is...the price. A very very small bottle for such a large price tag.

There's a multi-pack version of this for £15, I think it comes with 4-6, much better value! But does take a lot longer to arrive... In terms of the furikake it's good BUT I had this REALLY good Japanese branded stuff in the states and I can find it but it costs like £20 + months for shipping :( Even still, I use this in almost every rice based meal I have, it adds a bit extra to the meal and I couldn't be without it. If you're like me and you've had another furikake before, I want to note this has more seeds than anything else. The seaweed and other flavours aren't really there unless you use a ton of it, which I usually do. If there was something better I would recommend that, but unfortunately this is the best I can find so for now if you really do need some furikake in your life, this stuff is pretty much the best you can get for the price (the multipack)

Repeat purchase - excellent product

Fabulous. Goes lovely on chips with honey & chilli.

It works however the taste is lacking due to the lack of fish flakes. Would recommend other brands over this.
