Fantastically comfortable saddle for bigger people, super comfy
It looks huge and it is, but once your sat on it, you really don't care as its so comfy! It's made a massive improvement to the cycling enjoyment for us, no more saddle sore!Very soft and it moves around a bit but you soon get used to it as the trade off is super comfort every ride!!

First rate......
This saddle exceeds expectations and is well worth the purchase. Having returned to cycling after many years my husband and I bought new bikes from a well know store. All the bikes in our price range seemed to have the same standard unisex hard narrow saddles which the salesperson advised us you get used to. I'm sure he was right and so we persevered but oh my word they were dreadful and why spoil your enjoyment if you can find a solution. At first I researched and bought gel saddle covers and had high hopes for them, however sadly they made not a scrap of difference to either of us despite the good reviews. We should have gone straight for these saddles, again well researched they are indeed first rate. First time out on the new saddle yesterday we cycled 18 miles sharing the saddle between the 2 bikes and both of us agree it is excellent and made such a difference to our comfort so on returning home we happily ordered a second one.

Ultimate comfort
I had been searching for a new saddle to increase comfort when riding my mountain bike. Although the positive reviews for this product made it very attractive, I wasn't sure how I would cope with the strange looks I would get when riding around on this huge saddle. I needn't have been concerned. It is certainly a large saddle, but not so large as to stand out. My second concern was that my bike has what appears to be a high tech saddle fitting. Again, no need for concern as I was able to discard the supplied fittings and use those already integral to the bike. I had it fitted in minutes and took it for a test ride. It remains to be seen how this works out on a long ride, but my initial impression is of super comfort. It now looks like I shall be ordering another for my wife. I also purchased Raleigh Bar H/Bar N/Rounder Alloy - which has provided a more upright posture, so I am now set for some long comfortable rides.

Super soft, sprung and comfy - great for 'sit up and beg' cycling but needs a 'cut-out' for leaning forwards comfortably!
This is a huge saddle, largely reminiscent of a big, comfy chair and is perfect for 'sit up and beg' cycling where most of the weight is on the rear of the seat. It's supremely comfortable in this position and the springs absorb (nearly) all the bumps in the road or when cycling on a rough track. The problem I found is that I rarely cycle sitting at 90 degrees but instead lean forwards slightly at about 60 degrees and this is when the saddle suddenly becomes rather less comfortable. Because there is no cutaway or 'dip' in the saddle, too much body weight now rests on the rather more sensitive areas of female anatomy and it soon becomes uncomfortable. With a 'dip' or cut-out, the saddle would be perfect but without it, together with the wide nose, there is room for improvement.Because it is otherwise so comfortable, I tried using mine with my Velo plush gel cover, which does have a dip, and this saved the day and the saddle being returned. Now I have the best of everything - a big comfy saddle with springs and the much needed dip.

Armchair Comfort
I recently bought a new mountain bike which I use for occasional off-road cycling on forest tracks and gravel cycle paths. I am by no means a hardened cyclist, and like my comforts. The seat that came with my cycle was absolutely awful (despite being mid-range price), and the two times that I used it, I spent most of the time standing on the pedals, as the seat was uncomfortable to the point of torture. I set about researching a replacement seat, and came across this one. My grown up children are both avid cyclists, and immediately ridiculed me for buying an armchair. I ignored their taunts, and fitted it....Wow, this is how all cycle seats should be. My first trip was 20 miles on a rough dirt track through a forest in Kintyre and I could not have been more pleased and comfortable. On the downhill fast sections in particular, the gel padding and springs ironed out all but the worst bumps. My only concern was that it was so wide, it may cause chaffing, but I can honestly say that it is the first time in 40 years of cycling I have sat on a comfortable seat which did not result in me walking like John Wayne, and it make me wonder why manufacturers insist on fitting razor blades for the casual use leisure market.Buy one, suck up the taunts, and smile whilst you pedal!

When it states it's for big bums it really means it.
This was purchased for my pendleton eSommerby (pictured) when my seat broke. It's a good quality seat, it's out in all weathers with no seat cover (non would fit it it's huge). So from that stand point, its great. The problem for me is: it's huge. Comfortable to sit on but too big for my bottom to ride on and I've always thought I had a big bottom. When riding I find the size of the seat pushes me forward continually so I'm sat on the point and feel like I'm always falling off, now this certainly isn't comfortable for me. I'm always re-adjusting my position because of this. and the constant re-adjusting alters the comfort of the ride. I'm a size 14-16 in clothes so not small in stature which is why I thought this would work for me.I personally wouldn't buy it again. But it may be better suited to a larger person. It's certainly durable enough

Best saddle I've ever used
I have bought 3 of these saddles now, for myself and other members of family. I use mine on my e folder bike and it has so improved the ride. Despite the name of it, as another reviewer says, it just enables you to sit comfortably, feel secure on the bike and pain free afterwards! They all arrived very quickly and I think the value, for a Selle, in comparison with others I've considered and experienced is excellent.
