Warms the pool slightly in the sun and helps prevent heat loss at night so temperature drops less over night. It's basically just bubble wrap. You can spend a lot more on better/more effective thermal covers but for the price of this it does a good job. Fits my pool perfectly

For bubble wrap it does a really good job at holding the temperature of the pool .very surprised.well worth it

This is the 2nd year I’ve had this pool up. LOVE IT! Upgraded from the pop up type and this is so easy to set up/take down and you actually get all the space unlike the pop up type! Very sturdy and durable and no rim that deflates! It’s 4* because of the pump - useless! It’s too small for the size of the pool. I used my old pump last year, but it broke so opened this one for this year - it would for 15 mins before resorting to a trickle so I’ve upgraded pump to the next size up (got a very good price) and I’m now back cooking on gas with a sparkling pool! I love this pool!!

This has been such a favourite and loved by everyone in the family.The past year we’ve had some lovely summer days and hours was spent splashing on the pool.Big enough size to have the kids in there with their friends. Even the dog likes it. Made from really thick fabric. Not stretchy so it stays the size it’s meant to. Easy to keep clean and serves its purpose.

When I tell you it's just a big sheet of bubblewrap, I mean it. It's very thin and the straps don't come out enough to be able to tie around anything so it just has to sit on top of the water. While I do admit this was partially my fault for impulse buying it after seeing the overall star rating of this product being good and making sure it would be the right size for our pool, we were all definitely under the impression that this would be a proper sheet to cover over the pool, not just rest on top of the water. Very disappointed with this for how much I paid. I have my doubts that this is even actually the Bestway product considering the Bestway steel frame pool we have is pretty good quality and then this pool cover is just... not. It's just a waste of money. Don't buy it.

Seems ok. Not sure if it works better than the black cover originally supplied with the pool. It is essentially blue bubble wrap and nothing more. I brought the 14ft cover for a 12ft pool so it would hangover the frame and then clip it with beach pegs (also purchased on Amazon) to stop the cover moving or blowing off.

I thought I'd write a fair review as peoples reviews have been negative I got a new 12 ft steel pro max pool yesterday my old one was 10ft so this pool cover was 10 ft one I finally got the pool filled this morning and the temperature was 17 1/2 degrees I put this cover in it even tho its to small and left it there for a few hours temperature of pool is now 20.3 degrees so it's went up 3 degrees with that to small of a cover and the sun in 3 hrs so it does work and probably work better when I get a proper size one for the new pool..

This is a sturdy pool - very easy to put up (certainly compared to the rectangular pools we’ve had previously. - will be easy to empty and put away in September. We’ve bought a solar cover that lies on tge water, stops almost all leaf debris. Going yo be used a lot this summer by grand children

Not UV stable. Fell apart into millions on pieces in 4 months.

Does as it should. Slightly larger than the 12ft best way pool I have but I’d rather it slightly too big than too small. Really heats the pool up if left on during direct sunlight for the day, in fact the pool was a little warmer than I would have liked, so it does the trick. It’s been 23/24 degrees here for the last few days so that’s helped a lot. I would usually run a bestway pool heater which is pretty expensive to run and I would leave it on for a couple of days straight to get the pool to the required temperature, However I haven’t even used the pool heater since the arrival of this cover and the pool is warmer.
