6 Large Clear Glass Votive Candle Holder Cups With Rubber Covered Peg Bottoms

The venue at my daughter's wedding wouldn't allow us to use candles without a covering. I was initially upset about this because I love the look of taper candles in a candelabra (which we were using on the tables). However, we purchased these to put in the candelabra then used big votives, and I think I actually liked it better. It made it more elegant somehow - a little more 20s / Downton Abbey.

These are perfect but be careful cause they feel fragile! I used to sell Home Interiors and the votives we sold were so much thicker and not as fragile feeling. They are a great size but I don’t think you can actually burn candles in them so I am looking into getting the remote tea lights in a color.

I bought these for old candle holders I had from years ago (Home Interiors) after painting them from bright brass to a mat white for my daughter-in-law-to-be's wedding shower. They were not the large ones that I was wanting that Home Interiors used to sell, but they worked out. I bought 1" lace & tied it in a bow where it curves in, and it looked great with a battery operated votive candle inside. The glass is thin, I was afraid it would break easily, but I didn't have that problem.

These work really well at converting a regular candle holder into a votive candle holder. The rubber gasket keeps the holder secure, no wobbles.

The glass is very thin and fragile. I was hoping for something a bit more substantial for the price. I’m hoping the lit candles won’t crack them.

I wasn’t happy that I had to buy 6 when I only needed 2 but I guess I have spares for the next time I break one.

I was delighted to find these as they were the perfect solution for a wedding table decoration. The first thing I noticed was how thin the glass was so I gently inserted the votive converter into a normal candlestick holder to photograph the components of the table design. Later in the day my husband heard an explosion and came in to find the glass shattered and scattered everywhere. Completely unacceptable and dangerous. I am so happy it happened at home with only one unit rather than the day of the wedding.

I used them in a candleabra surrounded by greenery as a Christmas centerpiece. I used battery powered candles as glass is so thin I was afraid they might shatter with real candles.
