Warming spice base
I use garam masala as a spice base in my curries and found this one to be suitable for me. It’s a good blend of warming spices that adds a depth of flavour when combined with other spices. I’m not fussed about the organic claims and I think most non-GMO isn’t based in science and is largely scaremongering.

The smell of this garam marsala is beautiful .soon as I opened the packed you could smell how fresh it was and could tell it was organic . I used it in curries and spiced vegetable soup and got loads of compliments .

Gave A Nice Flavour To Our Curry- Organic But Expensive
Friday night at our house is curry night and we like to use authentic ingredients in our curries and garam masala is a key ingredient for making the curry paste.It has a reasonable amount in the packet (50grams). The package can also be recycled which is good to see.The packet is resealable so should keep it nice and fresh. It certainly smelt great and our curry had a nice flavour.They are organic and according to the packaging are ethically produced and grown, the country of origin is apparently the Uk.There's also a QR code on the packet to scan for recipes , some of which look half decent.It has a long best before date of 22/1/2025.Quite expensive (£2.99 for 50 grams at the time of the review). I can get double the amount for half the price of this one, so lose a star, but to be fair they are organic and did give the curry a nice flavour.
