Not actually OSRAM brand, failed after several days of use
Lightbulb is bright and would be great if it worked, BUT it failed after about 14 days of use. It is also not actually OSRAM branded but some knock-off brand.

Very pleased with this purchase. I bought 6 as we need to keep a stock of these. Great delivery via my local Post Office. The 250 W bulbs were no longer available thank to EEC regulations so these are a good substitute. Many thanks

Very bright for their size.
Finding a bulb small enough to fit into the enclosed-dome ceiling light in the bathroom while still bright enough to illuminate the whole bathroom was a problem until I found these terrific little bulbs. They're tiny but throw out a tremendous amount of light (and heat too, mind you) for their size. Not very energy efficient, but if you need a lot of light and don't have a lot of space for the bulb then these are ideal as long as your socket, shade and surroundings can cope with the kind of heat a halogen bulb throws off.

defective products
I ordered two bulbs both failed one within weeks the other immediately. Replacement refused. I recommend you do not purchase from General Lamps.

Quality Osram product
Bought two, would buy again - not worth buying cheaper imitations. Recommend these quality Osram modelling lamps that replace the original (Osram) 250W version which are specified by Bowens, with same light output. Less expensive than identical product from photography specialist.

Excellente Ampoule, Lumière Magnifique
La lumière est magnifique, je pense que l'IRC est de 100%, toutes les couleurs sont rendues parfaitement, incomparable avec une LED ou une fluo-compacte dont le rendu des couleurs est nettement inférieur et souvent très décevant. A 3000 Kelvin, la lumière est blanche légèrement chaude, le rendu des matières notamment des peintures est doux et chaleureux sans jamais tendre vers le jaune. A 4200 lumen, elle éclaire puissamment, et à 20,5 lumen par watt, son rendement est excellent pour une halogène. Visuellement, la qualité de fabrication est irréprochable. Excellente ampoule, je la recommande vivement.

Spezielle dimmbare Halogenlampe
Die Glühlampe tut was sie soll: Sie leuchtet und lässt sich dimmen! Was nicht so schön ist, ist der extrem schwankende Preis. Ich habe sie jetzt 2x bestellt, beim ersten Mal im Februar 2019 hat sie € 12,41.- gekostet. Das ist echt ok. Jetzt beim zweiten Mal im Februar 2022 kostete sie € 29,98.-. Zwischenzeitlich war der Preis sogar mal bei über 70 Euro. Zur Zeit liegt er bei € 68,75.-. Erinnert mich ein bisschen an die Börse, für mich leider überhaupt nicht nachvollziehbar. Aber was will man machen. Ich werde mir eventuell nochmal eine 2.te (Ersatz-) Glühlampe zulegen, sollte der Preis wieder mal fallen. Toi, toi, toi. Ansonsten muss ich mal schauen, ob es da nicht günstigere Alternativen gibt.

Increíble esta bombilla
Es una bombilla o lampara pero parece un foco en cuanto a luminosidad. Buscaba una luz potente para iluminar bien mi amplio salón y con esta bombilla la ha encontrado. Es como una bombilla pero en un formato más compacto y da muchísima más intensidad de luz. Genial y algo increíble. Vale su precio.
