(+/- 10%) 1700 RPMMin. Rotational Speed (PWM) 300 RPM **Q: Looking to use this to replace my psu fan which has got noisey. the current fan just uses 2 pins. will this work/can i chop the cables together?** A: I believe it could work if connect only positive and negative ones and leave the third unconnected. **Q: I want a fan to cool my valve amplifier. What voltage does this run on and will it continue to work on lower voltages to minimise the speed?** A: Default voltage: 12V Starting voltage: 6.5V ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ gone was the noise *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 March 2017* i had been using a stock cpu fan/heatsink since i built my machine. the cpu fan was getting quite noisy but the heatsink is a great design. i couldn't find any coolers that i liked and didn't wanna spend too much on it either so decided to buy this case fan and attach it to my stock heatsink. first try was to use extra strong velcro. didn't last long. found a youtube tutorial that used cable ties so i got my small reusable cable ties out and after some time fiddling them through and around the heatsink (and after putting it on the wrong way initially) i made it work. in retrospect it really wasn't that difficult and now the pc has become considerably quieter. the original stock fan was 70mm, the heatsink was 90x70 so i thought i'd get a 90mm noctua to replace the 70mm one. it is working really well now. i then went ahead and bought a second noctua fan 90mm to put at the back of my case as the stock case fan was also pretty noisy i realised. I know that i will eventually replace all my case fans with noctua, they are just so quiet, it's amazing, the quality is outstanding. for the case fan i added the speed regulating and extension cable that came with the fan. i used the rubber mounts on the case fan, only 2 of them as there weren't more fitting holes. was a bit fiddly but once in place it's a solid setup even on 2 instead of 4 rubber mounts. was only fiddly because it's at the back of the case under the psu.FYI, cpu fan on 4pin and case fan on 3pin power. both work, 4pin with normal cable and 3pin with speed regulating cable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect, great price and delivery *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 September 2026* Perfect, great price and delivery ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 January 2026* I picked up the Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM because I needed a slim 92mm fan that wouldn’t sound like a jet engine, and it definitely delivered. It’s noticeably quieter than the stock fans I’ve used in the past, even when it ramps up. Airflow is still really solid for how thin it is, and it does a great job keeping temps under control in a tight case. PWM control works perfectly too — it stays basically silent at low speeds and only speeds up when it actually needs to.Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Noctua: sturdy, smooth, and it comes with all the little extras (mounting hardware, adapters, etc.) that make installation easy. ## Frequently Bought Together - Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92x14mm, Brown) - Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM, Premium Quiet Slim Fan, 4-Pin (120x15mm, Brown) - Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/49541249-nf-a9x14-pwm-high-performance-quiet-fan-92mm](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/49541249-nf-a9x14-pwm-high-performance-quiet-fan-92mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
