Put these in as extra rear fans in a PC I built. Comes complete with rubber mountings (or screws if you prefer). The rubber mountings were fiddly to fit, but worth persevering with to minimise vibration to the chassis. Make sure you select either the 3 pin or the 4 pin ones depending on your connectors. Can't hear them at all - very happy!

I used this to swap out the default fan in a Synology NAS, this is amazing, I sit about 1.5-2m away from the NAS and it's almost like you've disconnected the fan - couldn't recommend higher.

I had recently bought an alienware graphic card amplifier to boost up my alienware 51 console size desktop to find the noise horrendous noisy cheap internal psu and 92mm cooling fan so I installed this amazing 92 mm nanoxia deep silence fan as I alreadu tried a gelid silent 9 which was still not silent ,but I can definitely recommend this fan ,I really thought it was faulty as its practically no noise humming or anything coming from it ,the psu fan I used if anyone is interested in improving on the silence of their alien amp ,I used a corsair cx 500m psu as the mains socket is in the correct space at the rear and the right way up ,hope this helps

German engineering? I bought three of these (two for the case front, and one spare), after time they start to rattle and had to throw two away. They are very quiet 13.7 dBA for some years and are one of the quietest 92mm case fans around, but honestly I would look at other makes out there. Hence left neutral 3 stars.
