Are these packaged in biodegradable materials as well?

Beware of Amazon drop shipping. Mine arrived in a large Amazon plastic bubble envelope. Very disappointing to seek out amazing eco-products like this one (it IS an excellent scrubber) only to have them shipped in single use plastic. 1 step forward. 2 steps back.

What is the adhesive? Is it compostable?

There is no adhesive. Totally organic and if you read the label on the product it is totaly compostable. We like them for dish washing and the fact that they are organic.

The title of this product says 4 count of 7x10 scrubbers, but the pictures show a very small scrubber. What do I actually receive if I purchase this?

The scrubbers mesure about 7 x 10 centimeters, which is the equivalent of about 2 3/4 x 4 inches.

How can these be disinfected? I don't believe they should be used for months before they are thrown out because they will harbor bacteria.

You could wet it nuke it or dip in mild solution of bleach water. It is not dense like a sponge.
