what are the ingredients ? why aren't the ingredients shown?

Most products like this dont have animal sources depending on the company where it is made and what other products they make but this product used to be good but they changed it and made the bioflavnoid complex weaker which is wrong for every 500 mg of Vitamin C there should be at least 100mg of the bio complex. this product used to have 200mg of the bio- complex for the 1000mg pills and it doesnt now and this is what makes the vitamin C effective as an anti inflammatory and immune stimulant So this product isnt good now

Is dose two tablets to get 1000 mg C?

No! It's already 1000 mg. There are some pkgs that come as 500 mg that say take twice a day. It is better to take 500 mg @ am and another 500 mg @ pm. Anything over 500 mg at a time just gets wasted out into your urine, but it's cheaper to buy the 1000 mg and cut it in half. When taking this vitamin I find I never get sick other than that once a year spring into summer season change! Then it's so mild and moves on so quickly in just a couple of days. Hope this helps! Also, when I stopped taking them I found I got sick often and weeks at a time!

when does this expire?

I just got mine during the coronavirus situation. Mine expires 2/24, and it is only April, 2020. Very happy with the expiry date.

Works every time

Everytime I feel like I’m getting sick or feeling a cold coming on, I take one of these and my symptoms are gone by next morning. This has worked EVERY single time I’ve used it for years. However it is a pretty big pill so its hard to swallow and doesn’t taste the best. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Miracle Vitamin C!!

Best OTC option to support your entire immune system

It took many years for me to finally find a immune support supplement this good! I take 1 daily. EVERY DAY! I have auto immune diseases and am disabled. Finding the right combination of OTC protects to help support my weak immune system has been difficult. This product actually works! Stomach friendly. And alrhough it is a bit large and thick. It has no taste and it oretty easy to swallow down with enough water. Best OTC option to support your entire immune system. I knkw it says “upper respiratory”. But it covers everything.

It really is a different kind of Vitamin C

Tablets are a little bigger than your average 1000mg tablet of vitamin C, so just be aware this tablet size might not be for everyone. I'm 38, and even I find it a little intimidating to swallow one of these pills whole, so I can only imagine what it might feel like for someone older. Still, so long as the tablet is intact, the outer coating slimes over when wet, which makes it almost impossible to choke on.Taste wise, there is no taste issue. It does taste a little more chalky than ascrobic-based vitamin C, but I wouldn't say it's repulsive or odd. Just chalky (blame it on the 8% calcium content).No upset stomach issues for me, and I'm on the sensitive side. Just maybe don't consume it on an empty stomach.For size reference, a 1000mg tablet of Ester-C is shown next to a 1000mg of a Kirkland-brand ascorbic-based vitamin C.
