1 Gallon Water Bottle with 48mm Cap & Handle - Reusable Jug

For the price I would expect these to last for a couple years. At least. But have been purchasing over the last year only to have them start failing at the seams. Will not buy again. Did reach out to the company, but no reply.

So far I've been really impressed with these water bottles. Prior to getting them, I was re-using the standard one-gallon water jugs that come from the grocery store, by refilling them with filtered water. As I became more aware of the presence of BPA in most plastic water bottles, I decided to buy two of these.There truly is a difference in the taste of the water; it taste a lot nicer coming from these water bottles than the ones I had been using. The difference is interesting, because prior to making the change I wouldn't have described the taste of the water I was drinking from the old jugs as bad.As far as how durable they are, I have not had any problems with them. With that being said, I am rather gentle with them, since I do not carry them around. These bottles stay in my kitchen pantry, and the only time that they are moved is when I am getting water from them or am refilling them. I read some reviews about them developing cracks, however I can only see that happening if they were carried around and handled roughly.The bottom line is that I would recommend these water bottles to anybody looking for a BPA free water bottle to keep their filtered water in. If you plan on carrying it around, you may want to consider something specifically designed for what you will be using it for.

I just got it in the mail and I haven't used it yet. However, the quality is obvious. The very bottom of the bottle is as smooth and thin as smooth areas around the bottle. You can tell it wasn't built to sustain years wear. The biggest reason I bought it is because the size suggest it would fit comfortable in a fridge in my room and it does fit well, and I got fooled by the sturdy look to it. I hope I can get at least a year or 2 out of it.

i've bought these to store my distilled water. their PBA free, thats important to me as i live a organic and natural chemical free life style. they are great to handle, easy to pour from. and the square shape makes for easy storage. I've bought 14 total so far. I keep having to replace them after several months of normal use. The plastic is moulded with a smooth surface and a pebbled one, ( for slip resistance i guess?) this place where they are joined separates along the seam between these two different surfaces. I've had 4 leak in the same way, thus the need buy more. I haven't found other bottles that have the features i like about these so I'm left giving only three stars. four in 8 months is high i feel. I guess the manufacture doesn't mind selling a defective bottle. I hope to find an alternative soon though. god luck.

I have been using these to many years for ice tea, lemonade, water etc. I love them because of the design. They fill perfectly in my RV refrigerator and home refrigerator. I have probably had at least 5 or 6 of these containers. After about 3 years, all of mine developed a small crack on the bottom. Doesn't bother me, tho. I just get a new one.

I'm glad the bottles are bpa free, and they're very convenient as far as the construction/handle. The problem is the actual capacity. I noticed that while filling the first few at the quarter machine, there was quite a bit that ran over. I measured the capacity of the bottle using a 2 cup measuring cup, and realized the water bottles are actually almost 1 cup shy of a full gallon.Thats why I gave it 3 stars. Its a nice bottle, but the capacity seems falsely advertised.update:after all the bottles we bought, we're down to 3.All the others have cracked, usually at the bottom.We thought the first one cracked because maybe we were a little too rough with it when we set it down on the counter.But that wasnt the case because no matter how careful we were with the others they eventually cracked too.These bottles seem very 'brittle', and a complete waste of money.

I try to drink a gallon of water per day but I was tired of using old milk cartons that were flimsy and possibly leaching plastic. This bottle is perfect for personal or shared use. It is of sturdy construction, has a comfortable handle, and the mouth is perfect size. I could see it cracking if dropped, but if taken care of, it works great! As long as the lid is securely fastened, there are no leaks or drips.

Fantastic item that helps to ensure I get the right amount of water per day. Highly recommended for those who want to keep track of their water intake.

I like this bottle especially because it is reusable and that it is BPA free. The latter point is very important for your health and was the deciding factor for me to buy this product. It is as described, stores 3.8 litres and is a nice compact size with a useful handle. It seems durable and I've had no leaks or issues so far.I would recommend this product to anyone to store drinking water.**UPDATE**After only a few uses the bottle cracked, obviously making it useless which is a shame as it was a handy container apart from the durability.Therefore, now I cannot recommend this product due to the product not being durable enough for its price.

These water bottles are brilliant for camping, just a nice size and very easy to pour using just one hand. I am ordering a couple more for friends who have said they want one.
