So Glad I ordered this Heavy Duty Drop Arm Bariatric Commode! I am a new Bi Lateral Amputee and needed this badly. The hospital ordered me one for when I got home from Physical Therapy unit. Unfortunately the one I got was too small and very difficult for me to use. It was too narrow and my Hiney was bigger than the seat. I cut myself on the cheap metal frame and it is wobbly. This Commode is perfect in every way. Heavy duty frame. full width seating platform( for us bigger people), padded back support, perfect adjustable height, sturdy locks for the drop arms. It included the large size bucket and cover. The best thing is it will fit over your existing toilet if you have to do that. It came boxed needing very little assembly( seal platform and bucket). No damage, nice powder coated frame(Tan), and rubber feet. Perfect for anyone who needs to transfer from their wheel chair or other situation. You will not be disappointed in this product and it is the only one you will ever need! I would recommend this commode to everyone. It may cost a little more than some but the quality and build are worth every penny! Avoid all those cheapo's. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

Wanted something strong and sturdy for emergency use for senior and bariatric patients. Does not fold down, but very reliable.

My brother who is 6' 8" tall and weighs close to 300 pounds could not pull himself up off the commode after an accident and hospital and rehab stay. Nothing else worked, but he was very pleased with this product. It is very sturdy and easy to get up from.

Because of the size and shape of our bathroom we had to buy a commode of this size. It seems to be very sturdy and very wide. However, the first time it was used after hip replacement surgery the seat did not remain in place and dipped forward. We finally had to tape it with packing tape in order to use it safely. It is very dangerous or ours was defective. I definitely do not recommend this commode.

One side of the drop down arm will not stay up nor will the release tighten. Need to use immediately and cannot wait to return and reorder.
