DURABILITY:Okay, I am a hard-on-her-stuff girlie that buys 2 of everything b/c I anticipate breaking things...but, so far, so good! While other reviewers said they experienced the silver knobs/buttons breaking off, I have *not* experienced this. The silver knobs/buttons are perfectly sturdy 2 weeks in with continual use from not just anyone, but like I said, a murphy's-law-girlie. ;) lol Even if they did fall off I wouldn't be mad about it with the $11.99 price.USABILITY:Also, I can easily use all the buttons on my iPhone in this phone case.BONUS:This phone case has gotten me compliments everywhere I go. But really...everywhere. :) It's so *not-even-a-little-bit-RENGARD!* ;)AESTHETIC:This phone case really looks like an old camera and bonus it is such a vibe. #Emily_in_Paris_fans_uniteMORE ON THE STRAP:I never tried the strap because other reviewers said it was too short anyway. Instead I opted for ordering a longer strap. Search for the following on Amazon:"LIVE UP Full Grain Genuine Leather Adjustable Replacement Strap for Cross Body Bag Purse, 43-51 Inches"If you are gentle you can fit the large hooks of the above leather, crossbody, shoulder strap into the loops of this phone case. Full disclosure: the hooks of this strap won't have enough room to swing around in the loops of the phone case because it's a tight squeeze there... but they technically fit! I've been wearing my phone in my new phone case like a purse (just like Emily in Paris from the Netflix series) and I love it.PROS:(1) great quality for the $11.99 price(2) get compliments everywhere(3) can still easily use all the buttons/volume control/etc. on your iPhone(4) so far, so good, sturdy-wise(5) it *really* looks like a vintage camera(6) If you drop your phone face-down, there's enough of a ridge that your phone screen won't hit the ground directly (albiet the ground surface is flat like concrete)(7) this phone case is such a vibe! ~~~~~ <3(8) If you are an Emily in Paris fan, this phone case is for you.(9) The neutral colors of the phone case (black + silver) go with every outfit.CONS:(1) You *must* buy another strap if you want a strap long enough to wear it like 'Emily in Paris' does around her shoulder.(2) The strap this phone case comes with is flimsy (and again too short to wear like Emily.)(3) The strap included with this phone case is so RENGARD! (Buy the above strap I suggested though and you will be aces, baby!)

This case surprised me for good. It’s sturdier than it looks, fix perfectly with my iPhone 14, and definitely makes people notice. Several persons asked me about it, and even though it was a real camera. The chain broke recently, but to be completely honest I wasn’t treating it carefully (not my kids either), and the rest of the case still resists. So, taking it all, I’d say it’s a perfect choice if you want something original enough while being affordable.

Pros: Fits well. Protects phone. Looks fantastic! People always ask “is it a real camera?” I get compliments every day. I started watching the cheesy show “Emily in Paris” AFTER buying this phone case just to see what the hype was. Had not heard of it until looking for this case.I did not take the phone case to Paris. But I did take it to Hamburg and Berlin, Germany, as well as Belfast and Dublin, Ireland. I live in LA/Hollywood, so it’s complimented just as much here.I bought it cos I’m a child of the 70s, 80s, 90s and I had a “real” camera like this old 35mm and loved it! I used it for photography class until upgrading. That’s when we processed real film! Not digital!Cons: two of the buttons fell of easily and I lost them. I recommend reinforcing with glue BEFORE they’re lost. However, the camera still looks good! The case is still sturdy.

Update * have had the case for a bit I still love it with a few minor issues, one the buttons are still annoying to press. Two the back lens part was chipping but I put gel clear coat nail polish on it and cured it which has helped. And …***SUGGESTION*** flip the case ! For taking cute photos it’s awkward to hold since it looks like your holding “the camera” upside down with how I normally take my selfies (and most people do for that matter) a simple flip to the other side would make it look authentic and be less awkward holding it, it would look that much better !Cute case I will give it that it’s definitely unique and isn’t too bulky or awkward BUT the buttons are incredibly hard to press, I wish they were easier. I may end up getting a different case and using this when I want that wow factor for something. This would have gotten 5 stars if the buttons were easier

Adorable! I get many compliments on my phone case. People ask me all the time, is that a real camera? It’s extremely cute. The only issue is I am super clumsy and have dropped my phone so the fake buttons have cracked. But it’s not noticeable.
