GROHE 33300002 | Eurosmart Single-Lever Bath/Shower Mixer Tap

As you'd expect from Grohe, this well-priced tap comes with all the hardware it needs, and drawings with all dimensions needed to set it up correctly (as in the offset couplers, gaskets and plumbing covers). What it has that I did not expect, is that the temperature is already set up for the lower pressure that the hot water line has, and the instructions detail how to adjust this as well as the maximum flow within the valve head itself! So a tepid shower has the valve set dead centre, and a comfortable shower is 1cm towards hot, offering a wide temperature range. It is an absolute joy to use.

Solid, nice looking, easy to install (in replacement of an existing shower valve). The reason we got it was so that our children could easily adjust the flow and temperature of the shower - for this is it perfect, being very light and smooth to adjust.

Warmth and sheerness are inappropriate measures to rate a tap on they make no sense.someone needs to sort this out. The tap is solid in construction and is great value for money. It doesn’t have a thermostat setting but as a result is much more reliable. It looks more expensive than the expensive one it replaces which broke after just a few uses.

The tap is very good quality and easy to install. I have purchased grohe taps before and have never been disappointed.

An aged bar shower had become difficult (stiff temperature control) for the user. A replacement thermostat was the same price as this lever tap. This suggestion was an alternative. The user loves it! Super easy to use. In a small shower cubicle you could possibly knock against it, but the worst that would happen would turning off the water flow. The only reason for not awarding 5 stars is no thermostat - I knew this when purchased but it would have been perfect if included.

Was intially considering a Thermostat option but after speaking to Plumber suggested this option as live in very hard water area. Have other Grohe taps. Its very powerful and easy to use option for both shower and bath, suits needs and includes 5 year warranty. Glad I purchased it.

We had a number of thermostat cartridges which have all failed or given problems after a few months of use. My wife has arthritis and found it difficult to turn the round knob on and off - this lever-controlled mixer for our pumped shower works brilliantly and has overcome all of our problems. It was simple to fit and the installation took less than 10 minutes even for a 75-year-old pensioner. We are very pleased =
