Fissler Pressure cooker sealing ring - original replacement seal - 038-687-00-205/0 - plastic, grey, diameter 26 cm

Bought it for my 12 year old Fissler Vitavit that had started playing up lately. Omg I couldn't believe the difference! No steaming, no noise, no leaking water, nothing. Pressurisation is achieved at a fraction of the time and the valve raises very quickly now. I should have thought about buying it sooner rather than wonder "hmm why is the cooker leaking...?" - I then realised you're meant to replace the sealing ring every year or so... So if your pressure cooker has a very old sealing ring too, it's time to change it and buy this amazing little thing! The cooker is now like new again :) Good quality item, good packaging, I was happy it also came with the updated model number as I had the old one. The price does give you a heart attack (over £20 for a rubber ring, jeez...) but it's a genuine Fissler product and it will last long.

Fit's perfect left lid in closed position before use as very tight fit now bedded in easier to close we used on a stainless steel tower 4355 pressure cooker definitely recommend A++++

It is the correct part and it fixed our issue but the price for this part is high for what it is.

Fissler - original products are good

There were a number of sites in the States that possible/probably had the right part but this was the only site that correctly provided the make, model and serial number as it appears on the gasket. The shipping was reasonable, as I recall, but it did take two weeks to get here. I new this going in and was not in a hurry. Fair price, reasonable shipping, right part. That's a winner for me.

Tried a cheaper replacement part that leaked. This is a quality part from the original manufacturer. A bit on the expensive side but does the job well.

Replace a broken one

Arrived on time and fits perfectly on my Fissler pressure cooker (18 cm). Everything works perfectly again — seals tightly and cooks just like new. Great quality and original product, very satisfied!
