As a receive antenna it's performance is fair
As a receive antenna the profeomance is fair, for a transmit antenna forget it, save your money and buy a name brand antenna.

Sturdy construction
Received the antenna within two days of ordering it. Fits real nice on my Yaesu FT-70D. Signals are coming through more clear in noisy environments such as LED TV interference and flouresent lights. Very good sturdy construction, unique for sure but works well!

Antenna is more omnidirectional, rather than directional, no nulls in 360 degrees, unfortunately
It is an antenna, more omni instead of units directional, no null points.

For the price, you can't beat it.
I put this antenna on my Uniden SDS 100 scanner and it works quite well.
