I have found the sounds especially rainfall most helpful in falling asleep and the timer is useful in deciding length of program. Easy to adjust volume to suit.

This product was purchased as a sleep/relaxation aid. We live on a country lane, which unfortunately leads to the M25 and is in constant use as a 'cut through' day & night. So far, it is doing a great job! Admittedly, not all the sounds are perfect, but we settled on 'ocean' and that does the trick for us. The summer night would have been lovely had the loop been a little longer. All in all very pleased with the purchase.

Does the job of 'overwriting' noise the 8-lane motorway that is only 200m away from the building; however, the 'water' sounds are unusable as they make people to pee... The forest setting is the one we use and I would appreciate finer control of the volume. Overall, the product is very good, definitely does the job and won't break the bank.

Since our children were tiny we’ve had these sound machines in their bedrooms and it’s always been our key to good sleep! So much so that my husband and I now cannot sleep without one. We have gone to other sound machines over the years - ones with lights or cute patterns but they all break and have dreadful sounds. This one we’ve been using now for 7 years and would buy for friends with babies

The unit helps my wife with getting to sleep. The white noise, rain and ocean work best, the repeat length of the thunder in particular is too short and after a while you find yourself anticipating the sound and concentrating on it. The Blue LEDs for the ON and timer functions are annoying as they light up a darkened room a lot, red ones would have been a better choice and they need to be dimmer too. A USB power adapter would have been better than the one provided as it would have given more flexibility and less of a problem if it gets mislaid (we are using it on batteries at present).

We bought this to help with my babies sleep at 9 months. It's very easy to use. Nice and small and easy to transport. Handy as plugs in and uses batteries. Great noise control too.

This is a good idea, but the machine has two very bright blue lights on it that you could see from outer space! That didn’t help me sleep. The volume control is either much too loud or too quiet, there is no in between. I wanted to return it, but I must pay for postage. So I’m stuck with something that doesn’t work properly and is irritating. Look elsewhere for this type of product.

on a tour holiday in USA, we were lucky enough to have one of these in one of the hotel rooms we stayed in (a holiday inn) - loved it so much, we found it on amazon on our return and bought it. it's very relaxing and great to have options to listen to. being portable, can be used either in bedroom to aid sleep or else downstairs to enable meditation. highly recommend, especially for the price which is very reasonable. this seller delivered quickly and safely, so would recommend them too. thanks
