JETech Case for iPad Air 1st Generation (NOT for iPad Air 2), Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep (Red)

I bought this because my old Apple cover was falling to bits. I quite like the fact that it covers the back of the iPad as well: the cutouts are all in just the right places and large enough that the buttons are still nicely accessible. The iPad clips securely into the back and the whole thing seems well enough made. Only had it a few days so can't comment on durability, but to be honest since it costs so much less than a branded Apple cover I wouldn't be too bothered if it didn't last as long! Having said that, as mentioned above it does feel like it's well made so I don't anticipate any problems on that score. All in all, pleased with the purchase and would buy again.

Ordered this case for my iPad Air. It's just like the official apple one! It feels such high quality and the magnetic lock really works well. The feel and colour is so nice, why fork out loads of money for an official case of you can have this for under £20? Stand feature works really well too. Bargain.

A simplified design over the original Apple cover and is plastic compared to the Apple leather (fake?) and cardboard.Make sure to check the IPad model carefully (very small print on the case) the cover won’t fit the later model.Good value for money compared to the Apple product. This new cover is brilliant! I had my reservations when I ordered a new cover for my iPad Air 1, only because it was not an Apple standard cover and I was worried about the fit and the magnetic off cover (Apple don't make covers anymore for the Air1... ) but I can assure you it is a perfect fit and the magnetic cover works brilliantly! Don't hesitate to buy one - it is really good quality made of comfortable material. Infact, I think I love it more than my original Apple case!!

Not in the same league quality wise as the official Apple full cover case (however, unless rooting around on eBay it's pretty unlikely you'll find one as the model is pretty old now). Overall the aforementioned are simply tiny niggles. The JETech case is perfectly sound. Very snug fit, sleep mode is a little finiky (there's been a couple of occasions where it didn't send the iPad to sleep and the next time I went to use it the battery was drained. doesn't escape me that this could also be combining with my own user settings so it could as much my fault as the cases I just haven't bothered to look because 98 times out of 100 sleep mode works fine when you close the case on the screen.I fully recommend this case despite its small flaws and or niggles. It isn't as good as Apples own version but it's also in its own right a perfectly sound case. Biggest plus is that it is way cheaper than the official version and that by itself makes it a great buy.

I bought a 2nd hand iPad Air for my grandson and got this case . When he playing on the iPad it kept on going to lock mode, after hours of “grandad it’s done it again” and berating him you must have touched a button or something to make that happen, I finally took the cover off and bingo it did not happen again. So got to blame the cover, cannot be bothered returning it with all the messing about that entails and just sucked up the cost, put it down to experience you win some you lose some.

Case fits very well and provides good protection. The only downside is the durabilityOf the cover which frays at the edges. I can say this from experience as I bought a coverA few years ago and will probably have to replace it soon. The new cover was for my wife's IPad.However it is much cheaper than the Apple version.

Having brought this recently to replace one that was on its way out I was looking for a cheap reliable case for myself and my mums new iPad. She got the back one which is fine, and I got the red one. However I have to take my iPad out to take a picture as it covers the left hand side of the camera. My iPad is safer in the one with only here sides by the time I have taken it in and out.I can't figure out how to return this product as I really would, but it will probably cost be more.Don't waste any of your money, what ever you buy the product should fit he description and fulfil the purpose and this item doesn't.
