As well as being a source of enjoyment for the birds they please me with practical features such as having a wide enough opening to allow sunflower seeds to flow nicely without getting stuck, not getting filled up with spent seed husks, as was the case with bowls. These feeders make it much easier to see when the birds have been eating more or less than usual, which in turn makes it easier to keep them stocked up with their favourite seeds. When you have a few birds, this helps a lot. Wonderful addition to their cage set-up.
