Wore this down to 12 degrees with a little bit of motion, was doing martial arts practice outside. I wore it over a Montbell Thermawrap hoodie, and was comfortable. I can wear the hoodie alone down to high 30's by itself, to give an idea. I'd say it's probably good down to 20s with a base layer. I paid 20 bucks for mine, staying in Wisconsin over the winter, so I need some warmer stuff. Sewing quality seems good, I haven't noticed any bad or sloppy stitching.The only negative to it is the weight. Definitely not for backpacking, it's a hair under a pound, 15.68 ounces on my scale. Good for cold weather dayhikes, though.

Work in law enforcement and used a type of job shirt/under the external vest pullover. The only thing is it's prone to snagging. I layered with an under armor mock and I stayed warm.

Nothing special here. It's basically a hoodie without the hood. I'm not particularly impressed with the material or it's thickness. It's not a base layer because it is thick and big, more like sweater or sweatshirt. Not really pack-able and nothing to get excited about. You could buy a cheap sweatshirt for half the price.

Very warm and comfortable. Well-constructed and durable. Excellent layer for working outdoors in extreme cold. Also great for casual Winter lounging. A superb value- one can pay lots more for comparable 'big-name' products. Will continue to purchase and use ColdPruf products as long as they keep making them.

This is not wool. It's Polyester. It's starting to get pills all over it and I've only worn it once and haven't washed it yet. It's too heavy for a base layer. It's like the weight of a fleece shirt.

I love wearing this during the winter time. Its very warm to wear.

I like this top because it feels fairly heavy to the touch while being pretty light in actual weight. I'd say quite good quality. Also it's quite warm. It is not a base layer by any stretch of the imagination but is a really good second layer. The fit is awkward. I'm 6'3", 210 lb and bought my usual size XL. Like a lot of garments made for an overweight society, this for like it was made for a fatter person than me, very big around. I liked the sleeve and body lengths though so I had it taken in rather than sending it back and this created a slight issue around the chest where it's now a little "bulgey".Not bad enough you'd want to hide it under a coat but not perfect. I plan on using it as an "knock around" kind of thing and as a layer for winter but probably not for "going out" to anywhere but the most informal places.

ColdPruf Men's Expedition Single Layer Long..Product arrived just in time for the cold snap. I like to sit around in my "underware" on front of the fire place and read a book or watch TV with the thermostat on 60. This fills the bill and cost is about 1/2 or less than what I have been buying for the past 20 years and it does a better job. HIGHLY recommend the tops and bottoms. My son lives in Wisconsin and I sent him a pair. He is happy as can be.

It’s a good product it fits and it’s warm. A little bit on the larger side but looks good.

For a base layer you expected it to fit a little bit tighter in the waist and chest and it was pretty darn baggie

Fit is relaxed . Will be warm. Good for second layer winter or wear for cool days.
