I would like to begin by giving a spoiler: this is the best self-improvement book ever.The Mind Game is a self-improvement book no doubt like so many others in its genre, but what it contains inside, is perhaps like no other. The first thing that really affects a self-help book is, I think, the mode of narration. This book has mastered that, but what’s more important is that it is not at all preachy. Using a very factual and matter-of-fact tone, tinged with empathy at times, this book will prove really very useful for those who wish to know their own selves as well as for the various counsellors all over the country. I may be even bold enough to say that this can also be used as a guide for basic classes such as Behavioural Science, Communicative English etc.Separated and grouped into different segments, the author speaks about relevant issues of everyday life, right from those one faces at home- to the workplace, ranging across the feelings and issues one faces within oneself, and with others in a social environment as well. This book also covers anger and stress management, depression and how to recognize that one may be depressed and so on. I also truly advocate for parents to read this book as well. It has truly opened my eyes. A self-help book like no other, The Mind Game: Mastering your emotions to achieve success is a masterpiece and one that is very informative as well as interesting enough to keep the reader gripping till the end.The author, in a previous interview with yours truly, has spoken quite extensively on her project. This book has the answer for all your questions related to the above-mentioned topics in a very logical and practical way. If followed on a regular basis, it can help you control your emotions and will motivate you to live a successful and happy life.The author has used many motivational quotes and has also used theories to explain you the benefits which are easy to follow. Each topic is explained in very detail, which will surely give you an in-depth analysis on why you take any action or why you get stressed.All the sections are divided into small chapters so that you don't get stressed out reading about any single topic. The author has used examples of some of the biggest entrepreneur's of the world to motivate you to take a step further in your life.What I liked the most about the book was that you can learn something new in every chapter. You don't have to be a depressed person to read this book, it will help you even if you are any companies CEO. The content is very rich and you can easily take action as mentioned in the book and analyze if it works for you.The personal touch of the author, like how she manages her emotions and how she manages her routine is missing in the book. Also, the book is more focussed on information (which is great) but it should also boost the reader to take action without wasting any time. Every section must have a call-to-action.Overall, I loved the book and The Mind Game is a MUST READ for everyone.

The Mind Game is the 2nd book written by Devika Das... All of us at some point of time have thought "what are we doing with our lives" or "why are we not happy" etc so for the answers you have to read it. It is a self help book with 6 sections involving few chapters in each section. You can relate your life with the things written in this book and feel yes this has happened with me and you will even find the solution. The way this book is written is pretty amazing, it shows the efforts and research done by the author. I liked the sayings used in the starting of every chapter. It is a must read if you want to manage your life. 4⛤ for me
