Must have gym equipment....
The media could not be loaded. It's true I love these carabiners. I have 8 and need more. As do you. Excellent home gym equipment. Safety first above all. I never worry about these failing. I have many other smaller carabiners that I do worry about.

Well made
Using these carabiners for resistance bands in our home gym (not climbing). They appear to be well made and work well.

A solid but heavy biner for your adventures
I know there is a wide range of experience and skill when it comes to climbing so I can’t speak to any one perspective other than my own. It’s been many years since I’ve gone rappelling and even when I did, it was very moderate risk stuff. It’s not like I was messing around on Denali or anything. I wanted to get back into some light climbing and rappelling again, likely starting out on a rock wall. I thought I would start assembling some gear again.I really like these carabiners. They feel very solid and secure. These seem bigger than ones I’ve used in the past but I don’t think that really matters. I can’t attest to the weight rating but I could see these things lowering a pallet down from a Chinook. They are certainly going to hold me even with a slight fall. The machining seems to be done well. They slide nicely against my rope and I don’t see any points that might be abrasive or cut into the rope over time. If there are, I will find out the hard way. These things are heavy. Not an issue for me since I will most likely only carry a couple of these but if you’ve got a lot of gear and weight is a priority, these things are about 6.25 ounces each. Consider your particular skill level and the type of work you will use these for and set your expectations accordingly. There are better, and more expensive, carabiners out there for more serious climbers.

They work
Works well for tree climbing. Just make sure you bring a multi tool with you as the screwgate can get a little stuck on occasion.

Great and RELIABLE climbing accessory!!!
I brought this item to our local climbing wall place to have it inspected and to try it out again this past weekend. The pros were really impressed by how strong and reliable this set was. I already used these to climb my roof/trees to do some pruning with a climbing harness that I also reviewed here and it JUST WORKS! The easy " click-in " feature with lock is what I like the most, and then the strength of the material used is another. The one thing which most climbers would not like about this product is the weight. I mean, if you carry a bunch of these with you, it adds up! For me however, its the reliability of the heavy material used that I look at as I wouldn't be climbing Mt. Everest anyway.Overall, a great set for hobby climbing and around the house work. Great value too and I would get more of these in the future as needed.

perfect for high construction jobs
My daughter is learning to be an electrician. She received training to drive a boom lift and set light poles. But she needed locking carabiners for her tools as a safety precaution. These are perfect. They are heavy and have a higher weight limit than what she needs so she can use them for when she is up on roofs for fall protection or to keep her tools safe. Excellent product. The slide lock was easy to push up one handed and twist to lock or unlock. As a mom I highly recommend these for anyone looking to keep loved ones safe.

Locking Carabiners
This review is for the "EMEKIAN Oval Indoor Outdoor Climbing Carabiner, Screw Locking Heavy Duty Safety Caribeener Clips, 25 KN (5600 LBS) for Hammock, Rope, Hiking, Camping" set of 4 Carabiner Clips which had a price of $26.99 at the time of this review.Even though these are larger than I expected them to be, these are the type of Carabiner Clips that I've been looking for for some time now. These carabiner clips appear to be made of a thick and durable metal with a screw type locking mechanism & cross bar. I hope that these "EMEKIAN Oval Indoor Outdoor Climbing Carabiner" clips won't rust and hopefully will last.

Poor quality stainless
Rust free? Ummm, no. Build quality was "meh," with very rough machining on the threads of the locking collars and messy-looking stampings. The product description states: "EMEKIAN rust free carabiner has a very smooth surface, it will not rust even when used outdoors in rainy and snowy weather, with an anti oxidative coating, which has a glossy and anti scratch effect."Don't believe it. After less than half of year of only light rain exposure in a mild climate, they are already rusting. These were in contact with known genuine 316 stainless on a play structure I built for my kids, holding up a swing. (I would never use anything sourced from somewhere like this for something genuinely important! :-) ) I wanted stainless because the structure is built from ACQ lumber. The genuine 316 hardware (which is in direct contact with the ACQ) still looks brand new. These, not so much - and they were just connecting a shackle to a thimble to give me a bit of extra length.I just swapped them out for some marine grade 316 quick links and expect no issues going forward. Not really recommended. Look at it this way - if these are not really weather-rated, what's the point? You might as well get alloy steel with twice the load rating and better surface hardness or get aluminum.
