Great gift with quality materials
Love that this comes with a box and looks like good quality. Purchased this as a gift for a toddler baptism and had both the box and the compass engraved - the box was engraved with gold foil and both turned out amazing. Proof that the material of box and compass are enough to withstand engraving. I had purchased a similar set from another vendor that looked cheap and compass arrived broken. The intent was not to be used daily or frequently, more as a keepsake gift and overall really happy with the product. Wish I kept the pictures for the review!

Great Gift for Caregivers
Five of these were purchased as gifts to individuals who helped support, guide and counsel me through the loss of a spouse. Well made, attractive and meaningful. (One was broke but was easily returned and replaced.)

Nice gift
This is a nice gift and nice looking compass. The only reason I didn't rate it at 5 stars is the clasp on the box was a little off centered and very delicate as compared to the rest of the box. A stronger hasp for locking the box would have definitely made this a 5 star product.

Accurate and beautiful craftsmanship.
The accuracy and craftsmanship are really great and it is built really solid, it functions exactly as it should. I was impressed with the engravin and accuracy of the compass.

Looks Cheap
After reading some of the reviews, I ordered this compass. I must say that I am disappointed in the quality of the whole thing. The stand looks really cheap, and the overall look of the compass does as well. I think that I paid a good price for this, so yes, I am disappointed.
