I spent multiple thousands for my system and upgraded all the drivers and antivirus and possible this and that. Well I upgraded as much as I could and spent 300 for technical support. Fanatec stuff looks very nice but if it doesn't work it does no good. I spent a full month trying to get Fanatec support and was shown we will send troubleshooting email in several months ask a good friend to borrow his. How old is this person I thought. It took a full day and another payment for a couple hours of Microsoft technicians to again get to the root. Incompatible with my windows. Some equipment just won't jive. With a Microsoft wheel if I choose so will have 24/7 support and hours to actually speak to an agent. The YouTube reviews tell a good story. Some people never had an issue its always the pedals if you really look at the reviews. I am going to go with Thrustmaster and never look back. I will always want support available to me especially when I'm determined to solve the issue. I did months of research and all said should be compitable with most systems. I'm above all requirements of all my games and did all I could. I'm not mad. I seen people playing with Fanatec using a laptop. I don't get it. Anyway before dishing out 1300 or 900 take a look at Fanatec non support and pedal reviews. Seems to be a common theme with Fanatec. I'm not knocking it I'm just saying I had a circus of an experience and I wanted to know why and what for supposedly the best available wheel out there. I will have to take the overall experience and be my own judgment assessment. Good luck good bye Fanatec and hello thrustmaster my trusted buddy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ less plug and play than logitech but so immersive *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2019* I can't talk about reliability since I purchased it a week ago but so far, I am very pleased.I used a G27 and the difference is noticeable, there are more nuances in the feedback.It is less plug and play than a G27, you need to upgrade the firmware and to adjust the settings for every different games. You can save up to 5 settings within the wheel. There are standards settings for various games on the fanatec website.The steering wheel Alcantara is very attracting.The cables are hard to plug if you screw the pedals and the base like I did.
