Great buy!
My family has several of these so it’s not my first purchase. That says it all! They are great for snorkeling and having an on hand air supply for quick dives. Easy to use and my son uses and loves it with the full face snorkel mask

Could not verify
Could not verify tank because there was no serial number on the part where all the paper work said it would be

Nicely Made Spare Air Tank, Best for Certified Divers
I’m a PADI Divemaster, so I'm pretty familiar with scuba equipment. This is a nice little spare-air rig. It comes with a good wrist strap for use in the water, and a carry bag with a shoulder strap you would use on land. You can also use that carry bag to strap it to your BCD. I ordered it in bright green, because that is a color that is highly visible underwater. They also throw in spare set of O rings. They included a small hex wrench, but I’m not sure what that’s intended for. The instructions are nicely printed but pretty rudimentary, and probably won’t be that useful for anyone who doesn’t already at least basically know their way around this kind of gear. Construction is good as far as I can tell. Unfortunately I was confused by the Q&A in the ad, and thought that it came with a hand pump. They do sell one with a hand pump, but not the one I ordered. I don’t have a pump at home, or an adapter to fill it from one of my regular tanks. For this reason it will be a few weeks before I get a chance to go to the dive shop and get it filled so I can test the regulator, and a few weeks after that before I actually get it in the water. If regulator performance is anything other than satisfactory I’ll update my review. You could use it for working under a boat for a few minutes, or something like that, but tanks like this are by no means suitable for trying to make any sort of an actual dive. I will emphasize, as the ad and literature that comes with the tank do, this is for shallow water use, no more than 30 feet. I would actually recommend it only for certified divers. Even if you are certified, I would not rely on it as any sort of emergency tank in a dive any more than 30 feet down unless you are a extremely well-trained and experienced. The literature that comes with the tank does a good job of getting that point across.

So fun!
I have used these before and always been happy! PERFECT for snorkeling and doing quick dives from the service to explore or follow a fish. Auto switch from snorkel to using air supply is amazing! I’ve ordered 2 of these and the 1L tank for my son!

short shallow dives
Having dived a few times in my life through the military and in personal travels. I can easily say this is an impressive little dive bottle. While traveling I have numerous times wished I had my gear with me. But the effort to bring heavy dive equipment is often too hard and is left behind. Then cost to rent is sometimes too much for just a short session. This makes it possible to jump in the water and spend a few extra minute down below. Its compact light weight and lets me pack it in my luggage or put it my gear bag for road trips to the lake, river, or ocean. I love snorkeling and this is perfect for a short shallow water dive. This thing looks pretty tough and the built very well for its compact size. It's has plenty of uses outside of just snorkeling such as dropping something in the river or lake and having to go down and look for it. You can inspect for damage under your craft. What important to know is that this is a short experience. It took me roughly 30 mins with a hand pump to bring it to 200psi. I was pretty wore out before ever jumping into the water. So this is best used in conjunction with a snorkel set. The wrist strap got im my way a lot, so I just strapped it to my belt in case I dropped it. I didn't have an adapter so I couldn't fill it at my local dive shop. I had to order a hand pump and im not yet sure if, but I may invest in a compressor for it later on. Overall I highly recommend getting a PADI class before you go into the water with it. This is definitely dive equipment and should be treated as such. It needs to be inspected and maintained for your safety. It is recommended to a maximum of 10 meters. That's pretty deep and you can get into a lot of trouble if your inexperienced that far down. Yet Its a ton of fun and great for travel.

Doesn't come with connector; you need to order their additional connector
Initially I was super excited about this mini tank. I am a diver, while my husband is not, nor is he a big fan of snorkeling. I thought this could help him be more comfortable in the water with me. First of all, the tank is really cool, it comes with its regulator, silicone mouth piece, wrist strap and manuals. I am impressed with the quality of all the pieces. However, in order to get air in the tank you need to have their connector. We have a high pressure hand pump, but it doesn't connect, so instead we just ordered theirs. A bit bummed by this. Will update this review once we have received the piece and tried it out.

I'm too old?
My wife and I are both PADI certified Advanced Open Water divers so I was blown away when I read the user manual that came with this apparatus: Precaution 7.15, " It is strictly forbidden for children under 14 years old and seniors over 60 years old to use this product." This age restrictions appears nowhere on the Amazon product description. We're several years past 60 so I guess we can't legally use this product. I was also expecting the hand pump to come with the tank - my mistake for missing that part of the order. Otherwise it looks like a decent product, but I'll never know.
