The Original hearts you remember!
Yes, these are the ones! Yes, very mildly chalky, kind of hard and the flavors you loved!. These candies fall into that category of love em or hate em. I was and still am one who loves em. I wish they were available year round. I stocked up so they'd last as long as possible.Other brands just don't cut it on the flavors. Brachs is an ok substitute but they seem to all taste the same but still remind me of my childhood and they are softer. SWEETHEARTS are the best. Make sure you check the label.

Love these. Taste great and fresh. They are a little hard and the texture is kinda chalky. Remind me of Necco Wafers.

INEDIBLE - HARD AS ROCKS - POOR QUALITY
Dental warning: These are as hard as rocks. Both bags are inedible. I’ve enjoyed this brand of conversation hearts for 60 years. Never have I experienced not being able to eat them. My son actually asked me not to give them to any of my grandchildren because he doesn’t want any teeth damaged. Too much money spent for such poor quality. I checked the Best Buy date and it has over a year before expiring, so these are either stale, something went wrong in storage or perhaps they aren’t even the original product. The printing is also off on most. These are not the ones I have purchased in my local grocery store. I’d like to know who really produced them.
