This is exactly as advertised. It will comfortably fit a laptop with a 15.6 inch screen. I was able to slide in an extra monitor at the same time, so there is plenty of room for a laptop on its own. The material is soft and will protect laptop from dragging or scratching damage in a briefcase or bookbag - without a lot of extra bulk. It will not withstand damage related to dropping or water exposure, but this is expected to be carried in another bag. The appearance is sleek, with nothing that can catch or pull when being placed into another bag. Accidently ordered a second and liked the product enough to keep it.

My wife was going to take a trip, but needed to maintain a connection to her office computer, which has two monitors. Her laptop only has one monitor, so I bought her a spare 15.6" monitor to take along to make the view more like working onsite. In order to provide protection for the spare monitor while travelling, I bought this protective sleeve to transport the monitor in. It takes up very little room, yet fits well, provides, good protection and and takes up very little room. It seems sturdy and provides good protection without adding any noticeable bulk to the luggage.
