This is an excellent art house film starring the ever wonderful Faye Dunaway. This is one of the best performances of her film career and is unafraid to 'play down' in this role. A mystery is that i've never seen this film showm on television

This is one of the best films ever made, not only about the fashion world, but about loneliness, depression, and the complexity of a human being. Faye Dunaway is heartbreaking in her portrait of a cool, spoiled, fragile, abused woman. Schatzberg's direction is full of understanding, compassion, regret and, maybe, remorse.
