A little on the high budget side , sound great
When my old plantronics backbeat s disappeared, it was time to upgrade. Reviewers commented on great sound quality ,so I jumped on the runner 60s. The fit was good right out of the box and they were fully charged. They paired easily but not sure if they will auto connect. I opened the music app on my s23 and started listening. Initially, sound was flat. Going to the Equalizer on the phone showed why. It defaulted to the normal setting which is flat. After trying different gener modes, I decided on Rock. First, atmos for movie was chosen. The sweet spot was found. Now, the music was very high fidelity with clear voice, mids and good bass. When bass boost was turned on ,things improved again with a punchier sound. Bass was much better too. After tuning sound went from flat and tinny to concert hall. 40% volume was more than enough. Can't comment on call quality but will update. Wireless charging works fine to. Really like that you can recharge the headphones many times with the case. The over the ear style fit securely and are comfortable to wear. Using the buttons takes a little getting used to ,but that's with all wireless earbuds. You can always use your phone if you forget how to skip a song or change volume for example. Overall I'm very happy with runner 60s, the sound is on par with my old plantronics. The individual buds is an improvement over the the corded together ones. I would always catch the cord that joins the 2 buds on something and pull 1 out of my ear. Just laying on the bench could do it. 8hrs of continuous use vs 2hrs means not having to worry about the music cutting out cause you forgot to top off. Though the runner 60s are higher priced than many 4 star earbuds, they are worth it. I'm very happy with them. Update: had an issue where one earbud wasn't working. After looking at the contacts, I found a small piece of plastic film on the contracts. Problem solved. Charged for 10 minutes and am still jamming. Love these buds

The Ideal running earphone at an ideal price!
We have 2 pairs of this in our family. Both family members love this! The Runner 60 is a fantastic option if you like to listen to music while you run or workout. The Runner 60 earphones are water resistant, and stay in your ears, even on the toughest road running. The Runner 60 earphones sound great, look sleek, and come with multiple silicone in earpieces for the best sound, fit, and bass possible. I personally really like these earphones with the Bass Mode, which you can activate with 3 taps on the right earphone to boost your bass. The Runner 60 has an incredible battery life, up to 80 hours including the charging case. And speaking of the charging case, the magnets in the case are great and make a satisfying click sound. One problem was if you use the headphones and you get them dirty, they may not charge until cleaned because the copper charging mechanism may get covered by gunk or debris, but with a simple wipe down, the will charge fine and fast.

The customer service is amazing.
I've had a few pairs of these earbuds to this point and I use them on a daily basis for about 2-3 hours per day. The earbuds sit well in my ear without falling off thanks to the sportband. The earbuds tend to block out most outside sound while running or at the gym and the sound quality is good, but I don't notice much of a difference with the Bass Boost feature when it is turned on. The only gripe I've had with these is that after about 6 months, I started getting critical errors that effectively made them unusable (powering itself on and off every 5-10 seconds, adjusting volume in both directions on it's own as examples). With how often I use these, I feel like that should be somewhat expected, but that's where their customer service shines. When contacting the company, they responded to me within a day and shipped me a brand new pair within 3 days and with no further questions asked. Similarly, when I had one of the earbuds go bad later on, they shipped me a replacement earbud that arrived in a similar time frame. Overall, these earbuds are a good choice for an active lifestyle, but you may start having issues with excessive use. Nevertheless, their responsive customer service entices me to buy another pair in the future.

Charging fails within a few months
While I love the sound and how these ear buds fit for running, this is the third set I’ve purchased that has failed within 1 year. This time it was only 3 1/2 months before the charging prong in the case malfunctioned and now I only have one working ear bud! Because I’ve had these problems, I purchased the 3 year protection plan - or at least thought I did - but when I search my amazon orders I can’t find it to attempt to use it. Very frustrating.

Best Running/Workout Headphones
I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm so impressed with the Back Bay Runner 60 earbuds that I had to share my thoughts. If you're a runner or workout enthusiast, these earbuds are worth considering. They offer a great combination of sound quality, practical features, and absolutely incredible value for money. SOUND QUALITY: I'm really impressed with the sound quality of the Back Bay Runner 60 earbuds. The bass is intense but not overwhelming, and the midrange and high end are crisp and clear. There's even an "extra bass boost mode" if you want to really feel the beat. I'm a bit of an earbud snob, and these definitely exceeded my expectations. FIT: One of the standout features of the Runner 60s is their fit, thanks to the ear-hook design. They're flexible and comfortable, and I've never had one fall out during a run or high-intensity workout. DURABILITY: In terms of waterproofing, these earbuds are fully submerged in water without any issues. I've even tested them in the rain and a hot shower with no issues. They have a solid waterproof rating and would be great for use in wet conditions, although I wouldn't recommend using them for swimming as the music pauses if you go underwater for too long. CALL QUALITY: The microphone quality is a bit of a mixed bag. It's solid in most situations but can be a bit iffy in noisy environments. CONTROLS: The earbuds offer full music control and call handling capabilities, with the ability to pause, play, skip tracks, adjust volume, and answer calls by tapping the side of each earbud. CASE: The case that comes with the Runner 60 earbuds is a nice touch. It's sleek and premium and can be charged via USB-C or wireless charging. I have a charging pad at home but easy charging when I travel with USB-C is an important feature for me. Overall, the Back Bay Runner 60 earbuds are an excellent value for the price. They offer great sound quality, a secure fit, a waterproof design, and practical features like a charging case and full music control. I'd definitely recommend them to other runners and workout enthusiasts.

Still working good after two years
Purchased two years ago. Have not had any issues, good sound sometimes when tapping to change song or volume it misses the number of taps but that could be me and it's quickly fixed by tapping again. I replaced Apple Power Beats with the Runners because I kept getting connectivity issues with the Power Beats. Also I believe the Bay Runners sound is better and much less expensive. The only down side is the battery does not last as long as when new but it has had two years of constant use.

Good, but not for intense exercise
The biggest annoyance is the touch controls. They're useless with sweaty fingers, and pretty frequently will just turn themselves off because a drip of sweat or a squirt from a water bottle will be interpreted as a long press to turn off. The seal is also not great, so a lot of noise gets in, which is an issue when running in a loud area. Otherwise these are good earbuds. Sound quality is good. Battery life is good. No connection issues.
