Really nice quality stool at a great price. I bought it as stool for my dog grooming table as the tables tend to come up low and can kill the back. Was very easy to put together and seems very well made and the adjustable height is a godsend and comes down to the height i needed. Comes with an extra 2 seat covers in red and white which is a nice addition if anyone wants it to blend in with their colour scheme. I've left mine with the black cover for now. It rolls nicely too on the castors which seem robust although i tend to use it only every 4 weeks or so to groom my shih tzu and its very comfortable to sit on, even for the 2 hours it takes me to complete Teddy's groom. Very happy to recommend and the price is great for what you get as there are some far more expensive ones out there.

Very Good comes in handy at times

Easy to assemble, fits in the car easily when I’m going to appointments. The seat is rather hard and to be honest my bum gets a bit sore on it after an hour. Better than the saddle seat I bought it to replace though. The covers are like an airtex type material, would only use black but it’s good that they can be removed and washed.

Putting together is intuitive (just as well as included instructions are minimal), only four bolts are needed to complete and an Allen Key for this is included in the pack. All the other components just push and clip together. The five star base is a plastic molding rather than alloy, but this makes the whole stool extremely light. The black seat cover is pre-fitted with the red and white alternative covers supplied in a plastic bag. The five star base has a 50cm diameter. This doesn't sound much but it is well proportioned to the rest of the stool. I found the stool stable in use even when pushing oneself around on the casters. Other reviewers have commented on the low height negatively. In my case, the low height capability was my number one buying criteria as I was using it to sit at a low hobby table that a normal height chair would make it impossible to get one's knees under. There were many other (cheaper) stools to choose from during my searching but this stool had a significantly lower minimum height setting (42cm). With the gas strut fully extended the maximum height (53cm) was in my opinion more than adequate providing one is not looking for a 'BAR' type stool. The 35cm diameter seat is thick (8cm), stiffly padded and comfortable, but does not appear to be a heavy duty construction. Only time will tell how robust the seat part turns out to be in practice. The chromed gas strut is a nice touch and eliminates the need for the cheap looking plastic covers found on many gas struts used on typical office type chairs. Overall, I am well pleased with my purchase, it fits my particular needs perfectly. But do take into account any specific height requirements that you might personally have.

Hi bought this stool its ok but could have done with going a bit higher. It would be ok if you where really tall.

What sort of stool is this which looses its wheels? not a usable one! can't get it to work, the wheels keep coming off. Useless. Frustrating waste of money. One star is the default deserves no start at all

Great value stool. Easy to assemble. Moves just fine on my carpet which i was worried about. The seat is firmer than expected but is comfy. Just what i was after
