Connected to my chrome book because I wanted to update my 13 year old Tom Tom. Unfortunately couldn't update because I need to connect it to a computer that has windows. Apart from that, the cable works perfectly.

It did what I wanted it to do which was to update my navigator 4 bike sat nav. The data data transfer rate is only 1.2MB per sec so a full map download took 1.5 hours.For a fiver, it's worth it if you can wait for the download. It seemed to charge it as well but I don't know the longevity of using it as a charger.

I bought this to replace the lost original cable.Unfortunately the cable didn't connect to my pc and Garmin express,I have now ordered one from Garmin and hopefully I will be able to update my sat nav.
