Dance With Death: A British Murder Mystery (The Wild Fens Murder Mystery Series Book 8)

An enjoyable read as usual from this author . A gripping story with a twist at the end. Would recommend.

I do like this series but this was disappointing compared to the earlier ones. Far too much time devoted to the political rung-climbing and not enough to the case.I have to confess I'm often confused between this series and Joy Ellis DI Nikki Galena books. Both set in Lincs fens, female DI in a "relationship" with h er DS etc. Like them both, but please concentrate on solving the crime. I suspect a lot of the next book will be wasted on arguments with the useless and vindictive new DCI. Unnecessary.

I have read all the books in this series that are currently available and have enjoyed all of them. They are gripping and well written with lots of detail about the investigations and the characters. If you like crime novels I'd recommend them.

I love this series of police thrillers set in the fens. The characters in the team are people you come to know. I just hope Freya and Ben eventually get together.

This book was brilliant and I particularly like the relationship ups and downs of Freya & Ben in the midst of the investigations. Top read as per usual.

These books are superb, wonderful characterisation and love the locations as I live in Lincolnshire. I am now up to date and am awaiting the next book.in the series. Another author added toy favourites list.

The development of the main characters is good and makes me want to read more.

This was supposed to be a holiday read but couldn't wait another few days after the 1st chapter. You just have to keep reading.
