Cressi Mask Strap Cover - Neoprene Headboard for Diving Masks

I make a large number of purchases through Amazon and I write a lot of Amazon reviews.They are based on my personal opinions gleaned as a result of decades of experiences in a professional occupation, as a consumer, a property owner and raising a family.This Cressi Mask Strap Cover is sold through Amazon at a cost of £4.25 as a prime item.Prime items come with a promise of included next day delivery.You cannot rely on the next day delivery promise.There is no indication as to any potential additional postage charges applicable to non prime members.The cover was delivered promptly alongside other orders I had placed.There are no fixing instructions although is easily and quickly sorted out as to what has to be done to attach it to a mask.There are what appear to be sewn slits on the rear side to the "cressi" logo.They are not slits but are the means by which Velcro or something similar has been attached to the interior of the strap cover/Undo your mask strap on one side, make sure that you remember the manner in which it was assembled and to put the retainer for the strap endback in place.Feed the mask strap through one side of the cover and out the other. Position centrally and press on the sewn marks. In my case, some of thevelcro attached inside the cover.Installation completed.OVERALLThis cover works well with both of my unbranded snorkelling masks. My hair is quite short, maybe an inch at the longest point. I have not hadmuch in the way of a problem putting masks on and off but my wife with longer hair has had the odd tug or two.This is a problem solver for such an issue.The cover is made of a neoprene stretchy but not quite elasticated substance. Experiences I have had with similar material enables me to saythat this will dry out quickly.A nice piece of kit at what I see as a very good price especially when compared to typical high street costs.I hope that you have found this review to be helpful. Very secure back strap but not easy to put on. Once on its perfect

As described. slightly fiddly to fit but other wise ok. Would have given it a 5* except for the large Cressi advert on the back. I just turned it over. There is no apparent difference between the material front and back but there is an up and down. Otherwise very happy.

Got this to go on my new cressi mask. Very happy with it, fits easily as you’d expect. Adds a nice buoyancy element for your mask when putting it on, on the surface and made it much easier to put on and off without strap getting caught in any hair.

I use to hate the feeling from my mask on the back of my head, especially after a solid hour of snorkeling my hair would tangle up with the strap and sad moments followed.Saw a few rental places in the tropics have masks with these kind of straps but never thought I'd be able to get some to use with my existing one.The way you attach these things is simple but genius. There's a velcro type of patch inside so it will make sure that the cover stays in place and after using this for a week in the tropics and snorkeling every day I must say this was money well spent.

Cressi have done it again.Top quality item worth every penny. I bought one for my partner & one for myself.Takes only a minute to attach to mask strap & once it's on you immediately notice the difference. Comfortable soft material, easier & quicker to put on & take off mask, & importantly for anyone with longer hair....no tangled hair or hair pulling etc. Also they look pretty cool & professional! Great buy. Highly recommended.
