Nice watch but doesn’t glow in the dark.
A very nice looking wristwatch and not too big either. I like the sub second hand and Roman numerals. I purposely chose a watch without a day or date because I need a magnifying glass to read them because ALL watch makers make the date window far too small. My one complaint about this watch is that it is supposed to have a Lumi Brite dial that glows in the dark. This one doesn’t. According to Seiko ten minutes exposure to light should enable the dial to glow for a few hours. This has been sat on the window sill all morning in the sunshine but so far no luck. I’ll keep trying but if no difference in a couple of days I shall have to return it. Once again, having bought a number of watches off Amazon I have to wonder how many years it has been in stock! The last watch I bought had to have a new battery after a fortnight. I will update if I have a positive outcome.Update: it’s possible this watch does not glow in the dark. Having looked at it on other sites there is no mention of Lumi Brite. In view of this I would upgrade it to four stars.

Beautiful watch, very happy, understated yet very stylish
Having recently lost my previous watch in the rush of airport security I knew exactly what I wanted as a replacement: an elegant man's watch with a gold-tone case, an uncluttered classic face, a second hand. a leather strap and a reputation for reliabilityI wanted a watch that was stylish, easy to read, not too bulky. The Seconda ticked all those boxes, and I'm delighted with my purchase. I should add that the watch keeps accurate time too.A good-looking watch at a reasonable price. The face is uncluttered, just showing the time and date. It is encased in a gold-coloured metal with a nice leather strap. Just what I wanted!

Lack of water resistance
I was highly disappointed with this Seiko watch—the leather strap feels stiff and cheap, showing signs of wear after just a few weeks. The buckle is flimsy and doesn’t stay securely fastened, making it annoying to wear. The watch face scratches easily, despite being labeled as durable, and the mineral crystal glass picks up smudges constantly. The design looks bulkier in person, sitting awkwardly on smaller wrists. For a Seiko, the movement is surprisingly loud, with an audible ticking that becomes distracting. The lack of water resistance beyond basic splashes is a major downside, especially at this price point. The numerals are also hard to read in low light since there’s no proper lume. Overall, the build quality doesn’t match Seiko’s usual standards, feeling more like a budget knockoff than a reliable timepiece. I expected better from this brand would not recommend. Save your money for a better model !

Classic Style That Is Fitting For Almost Any Occasion
I ordered an automatic Ingersoll watch a month or so back, thinking it looked absolutely stunning and at the time, could picture myself wearing and enjoying it. But, it was not for me. Could barely read the dial, due to seeing all the mechanical workings and not the hands. Also the pain of having to keep the watch wound when not in use, etc.A lesson learnt, so I ordered this and am very pleased with it.• Classic design. No fancy frills. Just a simple to use, simple to read layout that I can wear with pretty much any clothing and for any occasion - I'm 38 this year, so not after bling.• The strap is leather and although quite stiff when you first use it, will soften up the more you wear it. Leather looks great and feels great, too.• Has a single dial, which like all other single dial watches, requires pulling out at stages to adjust certain functions. Some people prefer a second dial, but I like it.• The face is super easy to read and the hand movements are quite smooth.• The overall size is just perfect. Face size is ideal and the thickness is surprisingly thin, but still "manly".I'm personally very happy with the watch and can see this lasting for decades.

Spot on
Turning 40 I wanted a mens watch that looked more fitting for my age, rather than 1 that looked like it was for a younger man. So my wife surprised me with this watch, and I am very pleased with it. It is very stylish, and can be worn for formal occasions and also casually. It looks much better than the watches I bought over a few years ago, and this one is very good made. Good time keeping and very accurate. I'm kicking off one star just because there is no date on it. For this price you can find watches with date on dial too. Anyway, I'm happy with this watch as Seiko is one of the top brands and always made good watches . Cheers
