Its a hair styling wax. You rub it in your hands when streak it on to your hair to 'dress' it when it has been blow dried - to give it some texture body and extra shape the way you want it to 'hold'. You don't need much, just a pea size. It's a brilliant product.

Q: Paste is very hard. How do you actually get it on your hands to put in hair?

Hi Nina, press hard with your index finger and scoop out a coffee bean sized amount, rub it in the palms of your hands to warm it, then apply to your hair to create lift and hold, I then normally finish with Aveda Control force hairspray to keep in place! I do this once a day and it normally holds, if you are goi g out straight from work just repeat above once again to freshen your style :) it always works for me... Good luck:)

Hi can't list ingredients, too numerous, but Aveda are pure flower and plant based and 98% organic based. Thanks TheHairShop

It has a faint botanical, slightly spicy smell. Gender neutral, suitable for both men and women. It's my go-to hair taming product. Very versatile.
