This is poor design. The strap is bulky with chunky buckles and too short making it uncomfortable. The waterproof storage bag is a variation on a dry bag fold and clip, but the design is such that it is almost impossible to properly seal. As a result Zone3 recommend using a waterproof pouch inside the waterproof storage - bonkers! Overall the design could be radically improved and the weight reduced:1) longer thinner straps with better buckles2) a smaller storage space with a better sealThe idea of a donut with storage is great as there is a definite gap in the market here but the design needs improvement before it becomes the go to design.

Does the job but strap is very short I noticed while swimming it was hitting my leg and in choppy water is was hitting me

I’ve had numerous tow floats over the years, but the Zone3 towfloat hasn’t lasted very well. Used a handful of times and it started letting water in through the bottom, and then about a week later the storage top started to split at the seam, not great…

I bought this as tow floats were required at my local lake. This is perfect, keeps my car keys and glasses safe and dry while I swim.

I bought this as an alternative to my larger drybag-style towfloats so I'd be able to access snacks during a long swim. It holds much more than I'd expected because the clear drybag in the middle of the donut is not a separate unit, just the opening to a cavity the full circumference of the float. A warning: you have to roll and wrap the drybag top very tightly indeed AND to make sure the inner drybag contains enough air that it stands proud and doesn't sink down to become a puddle in the middle of the donut. After one long swim I opened it to find the interior of the float was entirely full of water: my phone (luckily in a separate waterproof case) was afloat and my snacks were a sodden mess. But trapping a lot of air within the drybag section seems to avoid this. The donut itself is very easy to inflate and it comes with a nice robust leash and a large easy-release waistband clip (vital for when your hands have lost feeling). Overall an extremely good product but possibly better if the drybag section were smaller and contained within the centre of the donut.
