I did, one time, spot mold on the outside of the butter container but it I feel it was my fault for not changing the water as instructed. I usually change the water (tap water) every 2-3 days, and I wipe the outside of the butter container at the same time I change the water. **Q: Will whipped butter be too light and fall into the water?** A: No, because you pack the butter in the bell which ensures no air bubbles! Whipped butter will stay in the bell just like regular butter. **Q: What did I do wrong???
