We purchased the BOLDIFY Hairline Powder for my husband as his hair has been thinning significantly in certain areas. Before doing anything drastic, we decided to try a few concealing products—and this one is a total winner. The price is perfect, and the product is not oily at all. My husband is on his feet all day doing physical work and sweating, and once this is applied, it does not move. It truly stays put and looks very natural. The key is to style your hair first, exactly how you want it, and then use the press-twist-apply method to build coverage evenly. It does a great job blending and covering thinning or balding spots. The only con is the circular applicator brush—if you’re not careful, it can leave visible circular marks. Good technique solves this, but I do wish it came with a moon-shaped brush instead for easier application. Overall, we are extremely happy with this product and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective, affordable solution for thinning hair or bald spots.

Purchasing again this sample kit. This works great when I put my hair up. I have A LOT of fine baby blonde hairs so I look like I have spots. This touches it up perfectly along the lines and makes it look fuller. Also the colors are so good I use them as my eyebrow filler. I have full eyebrows, but again super blonde spots and if I don't dye them I just use this. Since my hair color isn't just one color I find the sample pack to work the best for me. Docking 1 star as I see they changed the 4th color to black now which is a bummer and doesn't really make sense for a brunette. If you have black hair you have black hair no questions about color matching.

I have tried other touch up products in the past and they DID NOT WORK. BOLDIFY covered the gray and the thinning areas and actually remained in place all day. Easy to apply and looks completely natural. Washes out thoroughly. I was instructed by my hair stylist to go one shade darker than my actual hair color and was perfect color even with highlights. Highly recommend this product.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this product is AMAZING! I've always used a much more expensive brand that I buy at Ulta and so glad that I found this one! After a google search, this brand came up and I have never heard of it. The other brands have a small brush and it's difficult to cover a large area of dark roots or grey with a little bitty brush. Not efficient at all. The other brands I've used come in a compact like eyeshadows and it would crack/crumble. Very wasteful! I have only used this once and I'm hooked! Alot goes a long way, it's not messy and with the sponge like applicator it's easy to cover a large area. Blends easily too. Bought the smaller size because I wasn't sure if I would like it. Will be buying more and in a larger size.

This stuff works GREAT! super easy to use and it works exactly as advertised. This will cover roots, thinning areas and it lasts all day. I'm super happy with this product and it appears it will last quite a while.

This product is so legit! First off, kudos on the packaging. Ribbon on top to pull open so you don’t damage your nails and the applicator pulls on and off from the bottom so no worries about misplacing it. Color match was so solid and covered my grays with ease. I usually get a color refresh at the salon every 8 weeks and I was able to extend it to 10 weeks without concern thanks to this product! A couple people thought I already had my appointment beforehand because I didn’t have roots or grays. Highly recommend!

(UPDAE: seller graciously refunded my money. I think you should definitely go a shade or even two darker to avoid the effect I had. I’ll try this product again, two more shades up. I’m bumping up my review to 4 stars, thank you for the great customer service!) I have dark brown hair, but had some highlights added in. I’ve had alopecia since 24 (48 now) due to chemical damage from a botched highlight job, which was devastating & didn’t touch my hair color since. Wore wigs, extensions & found coverups like these. $2 eye shadow is better in my experience. Easy to apply? I’ll give them that, but how does a light brown color equate to ORANGE on my scalp 😳! I thought I could stick with my usual dark brown eyeshadow and L’Oréal root cover up, my cheap stuff, but they applied the highlights closer to the scalp then I expected. (Was going for baylage, so my scalp wouldn’t be affected. Oh well, there.) The blond mixed with dark medium- dark brown, it looked most like a light brown color would be needed. Found this, and eek! Read great things, but although I love the packaging, the applicator, and the ‘thought’ of what this product should do, I still saw my scalp & it gave me an awful orange tint, and I just washed my hair. I’d rather see my scalp then people see this when I am under harsh lighting, visiting my mother in law at the hospital today 😞. I don’t wanna overwash my hair. I’m trying to wipe it off. Giving it 1.5 stars rounding it up, ONLY cause it looks like a quality product if you get a color that comes close to what it should look like on your scalp & I love the applicator and mirrored container. I’d try a darker color, but it’s also very see thru, so it must take several applications in this brand??? 🤷‍♀️ I’m used to stuff that takes one layer. The color is what I’m most upset about. I had to write this review. I don’t have much time in my weekend to review excess products apart from my normal vine ones, but felt this one had to be stated. I hope I can find something right. I’ve had past experience with great products of this nature, but a long time back. I also bought the fibers, but I’m afraid to even try it being that I gotta go out & it’s the same light brown color. It’s obviously not great coverage for more serious hair loss, unless maybe, like I said.. numerous layers. It’s not cheap either. I expected better 😢. Miss my $2 stuff. I was gonna get dark blond, but it said go darker if in doubt. Idk what this color is 😞. Not natural.. not expected.
