Arc Lighter

I love this lighter! It holds a charge all season, works great to light the camp stove and campfire. I carry it in my pack when hiking as well. Great lighter and the price was reasonable.

Bought this to use in windy situations, such as 4th of July here the other day, and it workde great. Used it for hours on the 4th and it lasted the whole time. Only issue is that the arc is rather small so it was a bit hard to get lined up on fuses but that isn't what it was designed for in the first place.

Is the cover, when you open it the cover doesn't stand well, onless you hold it.

Reasons I love this thing: 1.) Rechargeable = Saving Money. 2.) I hate looking at the flame of a normal lighter. It can’t be good for anyone’s eyes. This ELIMINATES the flame. 3.) It can light EVERYTHING. Cigarettes, Pipe tobacco. It’s like using a mini lighter because it only burns the exact spot you want it to. 4.) The neck bends as you think it would. Really helps make this item useful. 5.) It’s waterproof. 6.) Best money I’ve spent in a hot minute. 7.) I’m not a professional reviewer but if you still aren’t decided if this is what you want see if 1-6 would apply to you or are things you like as well. 8.) I’m literally about to buy another one because I love this thing so much. It’s still working great and I’m getting a second one due to MY inability to keep up with anything. It became an instant must have. A daily necessity now.

Nice novelty item

I LOVE this lighter!! I can charge it once, twice a week depending on how heavily I use it (my charging port is NOT loose as others have stated) and I am not tossing out disposable lighters and spending $$ buying disposable lighters! I've had this for several months now, and it's still all good. The flip top and corner lanyard hole provide fidget entertainment for me, which my family does NOT appreciate (but I totally do)! I have extended the inside to light my fire pit, which is why I bought this. I do find the extension a bit too short for my taste as I have another rechargeable lighter with a full length extension I feel safer lighting a grill or fire pit with. I'm not knocking any stars for that because it's my personal preference to have a longer extension! I don't like the light button where it is, but it's the only spot for it under the lid (again, my personal preference would be a on/off lock and ignite button outside the lid). For THIS design, I can leave it outside no problem. I can toss it in a bag without worrying lighter fluid could leak out (because there is none), or the ignite button accidentally getting pushed if something rested on top of it (because it's under the latched lid) and take it anywhere!

I have a couple of the regular versions of this lighter that I use for hiking and camping. The only problem with them is that they're not very good for lighting candles or fireplaces, so I have to light twists of paper instead. The gooseneck extension means I can reach a wick of a firestarter tucked into a wood pile without difficulty. Having an extra lighter also means I'm not always running down the battery on the one in my hiking pack.

Great lighter for outdoors and windy conditions.

着火にとても便利です。 アルコールストーブとか、ガソリンバーナーの着火に便利です。 つま楊枝を燃やすことが出来たので、着火材への点火も問題ないと思います。 着火部分が延ばせるので、いろいろ便利です。耐久性はまだわかりません。 航空便だと危険物になりそうに思います。船便で配送されてるのかな？わからないけど。

充電式電気ライターとあるので点火は圧電素子による放電を利用したものではなく、充電式なので一瞬の発火ではなく、ある程度の間火花が続くので何度もカチカチとしなくて済むガスライターなんだろうと思っていたが、本体を見回してもマニュアルを見てもどこにもガス注入口が見つからない。どうも火花だけを発生させるものらしいと諦め、これで蝋燭などに火を着ける事が出来るか試してみる事にした。想像と異なり、何という事なく蝋燭と線香に火を着ける事が出来た！ むしろ、これまで使っていたガスライターの放電が先端の針金が使っているうちに曲がってしまって火花が飛びにくくなる事があったのが頑丈になり、スイッチを入れている間赤くなりっぱなしなので安定感があるように思う。懸念点としてはガスにではなく、火を着けたいもの、つまり蝋燭の芯や線香の先端に直接近づける必要があるので、触れて少し汚したりする事があるので、長期間使用した場合の耐久性は大丈夫かどうかと言う点。でもこれまで使って来たガスライターのように火花自体が飛ばなくなって使えなくなる事はなさそうだし、先端を延ばせるので燃やす材料側に近づける必要があると言っても別に怖くはない。フル充電後の使用可能時間はまだ詳しくチェックしていない。

冬も使いやすい ターボライターが冬は火が付きにくいので購入した 墓の線香とかロウソクでも着火が楽である
