Great product but not all buckets have the same rim diameter. So if your box store bucket diameter doesn't match the Gamma Seal diameter you will have a difficult or impossible time fitting the rim of the seal to the bucket. Bucket diameters vary just enough to make things difficult, so beware. When I order again I will buy the lid/bucket combo for sure. The little price increase is well worth the aggrevation and time spent on trying to get it to fit on buckets I purchased from Ace Hardware. I got the job done on two of them after an hour while resorting to channel lock pliers and silicone grease. Some cosmetic damage but the lid works well. I've used these for years and are a great quality product made in California.

These are not the normal size gama lids but smaller. I received them fast and found that they where the smaller ones for a pail. Contacted the company and they made it right and refunded the money great company to do business with.

Bought containers at home goods and rats chewed the top. These are perfect replacements a good value.

I have 4 different types of upcycled 2 gallon icing buckets, all of the correct diameter--these only fit one type. I had 2 different brands that had a thick lip, like the one pictured at right. The screw ring wouldn't clip on, even using full body weight I couldn't get it to click into the channel. The one at left lacked adequate lip. Regrettably, the single bucket that accommodated these lids is now covered with a ring so I cannot photograph it.

These lids work perfect, they are a little tricky to get on but the seal is awesome!
