Only CM. It is very good quality, so I recommend it. You can certainly find other brand that do inches, but still this one works better.

On the picture it shows the measurement starting at 7cm - i'm confused by this? is this a mistake? is it possible to measure from 0? thank you

One side of the tape measures from zero and the other side measures from 7cm and that’s because the casing is 7cm wide. It makes it easy to read the correct result like that. However, you need to be careful which side of the tape you are reading from.
