Airbnb
The book goes over the Airbnb business. It goes over how to start an Airbnb business, how to research the market, and how to market the property to attract the right customers. It also goes over how to avoid some common mistakes to make everything go smoothly.

Below average
The author is a very poor writer. It’s almost like English is not his first language. However, there are a few resources like Walking Score that I didn’t know exist, and he is strong on Air bnb’s online research metrics that could be helpful.

Great General Overview
A good book to start with as you research Airbnb. You'll want more expert advice and actual experience before making any investment.

Quite basic introduction
Fairly comprehensive for the basics. Most topics are just a concept / glossary with quite basic context. Not enough to properly plan.

It got better
When I read that B & B’s have been going for “almost fifty years” I wondered where he got this incorrect reference from. However, the bibliography does suggest some proper research was done. It was not of use particularly to me in the UK as the information is really written for the American market. However, many, myself included should consider how disruptive it can be having strangers in your home purely because your beauty sleep will be interrupted by people arriving late and/or departing early and that you are expected to provide a service that pleases most of the people most of the time. In the Uk we have the rent a room scheme which allows you to earn up to £7500 per year tax free. That seems to be a better fit for many.
