Very Powerful Illuminator
The media could not be loaded. This dedicated IR LED Illuminator has the power to punch far above it's weight and go toe to toe with much more expensive (albeit professionally manufactured) products such as the B.E. Meyers KIJI, Surefire vampire, and weltool IR heads. While anything related to night vision on Amazon is typically a less than ideal practice, sometimes there are diamonds in the rough, and this IR Illuminator is one of them.10w of 850nm IR light is almost too much for a proper analogue optic such as a PVS14 (shown in review). The head is able to narrow the beam down nearly to a laser head while also being able to pull all the way out into a very wide flood. The design intent for an Illuminator like this is as a supplement for digital and primitive NVGs as they can't hold up in darker environments the same way analogue gen 3 night vision can, and it does so by being extremely powerful to make up for the lack of performance from cheap NVGs.As far as recoil management I haven't put them to the test yet, but I will definitely return once I've done so.A powerful product for its pricetag, if your intent isnt for real professional use, and is for hunting, target shooting, or wargames such as airsoft, I would definitely recommend giving this a look.

As good as the best
Excellent quality illuminator far exceeding its price point. It has a smooth zoom with a range of approximately 4 to 20 deg. that produces a clean, well-defined spot without any artifacts and a usable range of about 450 meters. Having only one power setting, it can be a bit too bright at 3 meters or less depending on the type of NV being used. Its only real downside is that it has a reverse clicky switch.Quality isn't refined as a top-end lights but appears comparable to mid-range commercial quality lights.Haven't used the tape switch so I can't comment on it, but unlike what some others have experienced I find the mount holds the light securely.

Not bad
It isn't bad for what it is. It's just late cheap plastic, but they made it decently well. The lens popped out on one of them. You get what you pay for.

Good when it works, but won’t stop flickering
Super bright through my scope, but it keeps flickering like crazy, thought it was a dead battery so I charged it, same thing, put it a new 18650 battery, same thing. Definitely making a solid connection but something else is wrong. With the normal button and extended button. Hoping the company reaches out and helps me fix this issue, I’ll keep everyone posted if there is action put forth.

The poors will rise again !
Got this and was scared with the price. I love this mf’er. I use it as a canopy light for night time gardening. It floods the garden rooms. The IR “bulb” is visible to the naked eye but it’s probably a 1/4”x1/4” square. Obviously the projected light is not visible to the naked eye. Show me a better light for this price and I’ll buy it.

Very bright
Used on a mount for a night vision camera. Focusable, works good.

An ok light with some shortcomings.
There isn't a lot of important information online about this light so I'll try to add some.1. Battery Size: 18650. Comes with a 3400mAh. I have not tested the battery to see if the mAh is accurate.2. Picatinny Rail Mount: Not good. I tightened down the screws all the way and it still slipped when pulling on the Zoom adjuster. Additionally, because of the size and placement of the screw for tightening down the rail, this mount won't attach to the Sightmark Wraith. You can use the Sightmark mount to attach this flashlight.3. Remote switch. Not great. There are 4 unlabeled buttons. The prominent one is an on-and-off switch. The other three you hold down to keep the light on and when you release it, the light is off. There is no point to this feature on a UV light. Normally these buttons would be wired to adjust the intensity of the light, but this light doesn't have those features. This is a generic remote switch I've seen on other lights. I'd expect a little more for this price.4. What this light doesn't come with, but would be very useful, is a regular switch! This light only has the remote switch.5. Light settings: Just on and off. I would at least hope for a hi/lo setting for this price point.6. The good side: this is a pretty bright light. I don't have other 950nm lights, but I'll compare it to the Odepro 850nm and the standard sight wraith 850nm later. I currently don't have enough information to contrast it with other 950 lights. That being said, it easily lights 100m away.
